The park is great, my daughter absolutely loves that she can play and climb up high and see the lake. I just wish there were a fence around the playground itself for the moms with younger children, bc they can dart for the water in an instant and that's a scary thought! But other than that, it has a few slides, a swing area, and plenty for the kids to do! Perfect place for birdwatching too.

One of the best spots to soak in the beauty of Oak hollow lake, they host so many events like rowing races, monthly movie nights, you can also take your boats and kayaks or rent from there, so many spots to sit and enjoy a picnic day and a fresh newly made kids play area.

Great spot for picnic, play time at the playground, a nice walk or a place to find some aline time to recharge. It's a couple dollars to go fishing from the bank or you can rent a kayak, bring your own boat or just come and watch others fish. Not super busy in the mornings the weekdays but I heard that it gets busier on the weekends, in the morning and afternoon.

Oak Hollow Marina remains an enjoyable place, particularly in the morning when it tends to be quieter. During the warmer months, you will of course find more folks using the facility, which sadly means more trash left behind by thoughtless, self-centered, poor in spirit individuals who treat nature like their own personal dumping ground. Also on the rise are the number of people who show up to smoke marijuana and then drive while high. Disgraceful. Occasionally you'll find people drinking there, too, despite that not being allowed. I have no problem with either booze or dope, just not here and certainly not before driving. All of this aside, it is a mostly pleasant place nestled into High Point.

The folks out there are so friendly and helpful. The lake is beautiful and one of the cleanest in our area. We took kayaks and paddle boards and had a fabulous day on the water!
