I recently brought my laptop to Lapfix after it completely died, and am very impressed with the experience. Eric and his team use advanced tools and recovery methods that seriously rival, if not surpass those of much larger data recovery companies. They accomplished in 24 hours what other businesses often take weeks or even months to complete. Eric also went above and beyond to recover critical files using additional techniques beyond his standard process. Exceptional service and results; highly recommended!

Place is ran by some twenty-something year old gamers that are actually quite professional. Did a great job and got my gaming pc back to slaying BF6 in a couple days. Highly recommend. Breath of fresh air to work with nerds that get it.

After seeing and reading all of the great reviews for this place, I am extremely disappointed with them. I brought in my Mac for a liquid spill repair. The one good thing I can say about them is they were very quick in diagnosing the issue and staying in contact with me. They quoted me $645 to repair the Mac and $1300 for data recovery (these were separate prices for separate services). For $2,000 I could just buy a brand new computer. I decided to pay the $645 for the repair option and deal with the lost data. Upon having my computer returned to me, I noticed the keyboard was basically unusable. Almost half of the keys were partially depressed and when they were pressed, they took a long time to come back up so I would get multiple entries of a character from a single keypress. They were not in this condition when I brought the computer in (even after the liquid spill). This renders the computer virtually useless as I travel for work and can't always carry a bluetooth keyboard with me everywhere. When I brought this issue up to them they told me it would be ANOTHER $400 to fix the keyboard. Why wasn't this mentioned in the beginning? Why tell me you could repair it without specifying that repair doesn't actually mean repair and that there are surprise or hidden costs? If I'd have known there were hidden charges or that "repair" wasn't a comprehensive word I would have taken my business somewhere else. Now I am out $645 and still have to go buy a new computer anyway. AVOID THIS BUSINESS.

LapFix gave me a quick diagnosis and repair of my out-of-warranty laptop. Their price was reasonable, and Mason answered all my questions about policy, pricing, and repair times. Mason completed the work sooner than expected and saved me the considerable replacement cost of a laptop that had become unusable. I would highly recommend this business. They are professional, provide quick responses to communications, and solved a problem that other repair services I consulted were unable to address.

The shop was easy to reach and offered clear, upfront communication about the process. They provided a detailed estimate with a breakdown of the expected costs. I appreciated how transparent they were about the potential issues, and they even suggested a couple of options for how to move forward depending on what they found during the diagnosis. The repairs were completed faster than I expected—just a few days instead of the 7–10 business days that other shops had quoted me. Highly recommend these guys
