The service wasn’t bad, my massage itself was just okay. The amenities just aren’t there. No champagne, no delicious snacks, no viral rain showers. The main pool and pool on the men’s side was nice. However, the women’s side was much smaller and the hot tub did not work.

At the Fontaine Bleau, I went to Lapis Spa. I was greeted with a warm welcome by Christopher. He is exceptional. Pleasant and professional. He answered all my questions and made me feel cared for. I spent the whole day at the spa. I was equally impressed by the whole staff. Indira, Darline, Adeline, Virginia and Miliany. Lapis spa was nothing short of amazing. Beginning to end. The spa was clean, and very enjoyable. I relaxed and felt refreshed. I got my hair done too. Unfortunately I do not have the hairdressers name. She was great. My hair looked amazing. I'm looking forward to my next visit. Thank you Lapis Spa. <3

I had been here years ago and it was an exceptional and memorable experience with great therapists. After this most recent experience- I would not go back. The spa concierge is difficult to get ahold of over the phone the facilities are in need of a face lift, and most importantly- the massage was not what I paid for (not deep tissue, more of a slippery oil rub despite reminding the therapist about the pressure multiple times); I requested a focus on my back that I needed, but did not get that. It seemed like it was not a trained masseuse. When I commented at the front desk, nothing was done. I do get frequent massages even at cheaper places that are better and more professional than this, and am not one to ever complain about it, but this was an expensive experience that left me still with the same back tension I came into it for. I wish I had read the recent reviews before coming back.

Unfortunately this spa is still operating because of the association to the Fontainebleau hotel. It is bad, services are mediocre at best , the spa as a whole is completely rundown. I hardly ever leave a a bad review but I must warn others. Don’t waste your time or money here.

I had a very disappointing experience with the staff at Lapis Spa at the Fontainebleau. I paid $500 for a massage, which is certainly not cheap, and the way the situation was handled was extremely frustrating. I arrived a few minutes late to my appointment because I had an issue with my car. As soon as it happened, I called the spa to let them know I was going to be late so they were aware in advance. Despite this, when I arrived I was met with a very rude attitude from the employees assisting me instead of any understanding or professionalism. I want to be clear that I was very understanding and aware that arriving late can sometimes cause scheduling conflicts. Because of that, I tried to be flexible and offered multiple options to reschedule, including different days and even weeks when I would be available. However, I was told they could not reschedule me at all. The staff member wouldn’t even look me in the face while speaking to me, which made the interaction feel very dismissive and disrespectful. What made it worse was that I was told I had essentially lost my $500 and that there was nothing else I could do. The only “solution” they offered was for me to purchase the service again with just a 20% discount, which felt completely unfair. For a spa that promotes luxury and high-end service, I expected far better customer care and professionalism. This experience was extremely infuriating and the worst I’ve ever had. Lastly after leaving the hotel I received emails with details including the masseuse name that supposedly provided a service that I never received.
