Great experience at LaserAway! The front desk team super welcoming and helpful they make everything easy from the moment you walk in and the nurses are caring and knowledgeable, You can tell they really care about their clients. Definitely one of the best places I’ve been to.Highly recommend!

I'm extremely upset that I have to leave this review. I'm based in Los Angles, but I have to schedule this location a few times due to my occupation location. This location has scheduling issues every single time; it's absurd and completely unacceptable. The first time that I had an appointment here, they had me wait an hour past my appointment start time and they still don't have a time when I will be let in. For the record, my full laser treatment in LA usually takes 50 minutes maximum, so I paid for parking for 1.5 hours. I ended up having a later commitment to attend to, and my parking was expiring, so I had to completely give up my appointment and reschedule. The response of the front desk was, besides their basic apology, that I would lose the optimal treatment and that I should have paid for longer parking. Excuse me, but I had to wait at the lobby for duration longer than my usual appointment time and it is my fault that I didn't plan to stay longer?? This is completely unacceptable. In my second time scheduling at this location, they somehow triple-booked the system. On the day before my appointment, I was simply informed that my appointment is impossible and it needs to be rescheduled. When I tried to reschedule, there was no date/time/location that works for me, and I was put on a "waitlist" for another a week later. On the day of my appointment, the location called to inform that there is a last-minute opening in a different time of that day. I agreed to do the alternate time on the same day, and I had to completely clear my commitments and plans for that day just to accommodate for this. ONLY TO FIND OUT during the end of my appointment that day, that somehow in the midst of all these rescheduling, a portion of my treatment is dropped. I explained, to the technician before ending my treatment, that it was because of the system rescheduling that somehow one of the clerks did not carry all my selection, and that I always schedule everything together. But I was simply told that I should have checked in with the front desk of my exact treatment before I enter. Excuse me again, but how was I supposed to check on a something that never had a problem, let alone something that is out of my control? The appointment notification does not have these information, and what is the difference even if I checked in at the front desk?? I've tried really hard to be nice and accommodating to these people, but after being thrown around like this, I see that they have no urgency and no appropriate customer service for this. Again, completely unacceptable. Thus, I had to reschedule for a portion of my treatment, which completely messes up the "optimization" part or whatever. ONLY THAT, ONCE AGAIN mistaken by the system. I received two appointment time notification, one that I agreed to in-person, and the other I cannot make, but somehow (as I later found out through call) that I'm only scheduled in their system for the time I cannot make. So I had to cancel appointment once again. Not a single scheduling attempt without major mistakes and confusion at this location. They double-book people, triple-book people in hopes that they drop their appointment, and they do not have any sense of urgency to getting their issues resolved. I have always believed that LaserAway runs on a central system, and that the issues should not stretch from branch locations. However, after three whole terrible experiences scheduling at this location-- only here and not the other, I am now convinced that there is something wrong with this LaserAway Emeryville. DO NOT BOOK YOUR APPOINTMENT HERE.
