Beware of this Law Firm. Speaking to Bobby Ortiz was pleasant but, I guess that was to reel you in thinking you were only getting a certain part of work done. I even notified the office to talk to Bobby to let him know the amounts that appeared on the contract were wrong. They were quoting me as if I hired them from the start. He said they couldn’t start the process till I signed and he would get it fixed and would send the actual contract. So I signed but never received the correct contract. When it was only for a 30 day hire this law firm to represent me till I got to mediation and paid $4,000 up front then started to receive all sorts of invoices and when I would talk to the actual lawyer she would say she never received any papers so I would have to resend them. As tho nothing was being done. Now I’m supposedly in debt for an additional $6,800 that I wasn’t aware of. I even signed to release this law firm since I couldn’t pay anymore but judge didn’t want to sign off. That wasn’t my fault I wanted to keep them from doing anything else cause I couldn’t afford to keep paying and they knew it. But yet still kept adding and adding fees. I had already been thru 2 other lawyers and told this law firm I only had one more shot and that’s all the money I had and if it was going to be more then the $4,000 I didn’t have anymore money. They just assured they would help me not realizing they were adding and adding more fees. Please stay away and don’t believe what is said do your research when hiring a law firm. Especially when they tell you one thing and aren’t really there to help you. It’s all about money. Now in debt more than ever for a 30 day hire.

I was so glad that I chose Divorce Simplified to file my divorce. I wasn’t sure I could even get divorced in the US since my Ex husband wasn’t in the US and we got married in overseas.
