Did a cooking class and had a great time with Chef Dean and Ry! My girlfriend and I learned how to make three great recipes and would recommend their cooking classes to anyone looking to learn, have a fun date night, or are just hungry. Looking forward to doing another one!
Nicely laid out store. A lot of people just go there just to "be seen" and pick up a few items but theres no real value or quality here. Items are grossly overpriced. Organic avocados for example run 2x or 3x what you'd normally pay in town. If you're looking for quality and value not a 1st choice and just another carriage on the hype train. You're better off going to Whole Foods.
My husband and I go out of our way to come to this market as their selection is unbeatable. Produce is always in pristine condition and their hot bar and bakery are exquisite. Not all grocery stores carry raw milk and raw cheese so this is the ideal spot for us. Inclusively, we encounter new products regularly and consistently so we recommend to all our friends and family. The juice bar has even accommodated an unusual request, fresh pressed juice using produce we purchased in store and they were lovely about it!
I can’t really say much about the food from this supermarket — I’ve never bought anything there except cookies for the kids. But we always stop by to fill up on water. We really like their filtered water. We make coffee at home, and it turns out great with this water. As for the food, a lot of people buy it, so they must like it, and I’m sure it’s pretty good!
Crazy obsessed with the best of the best. Lazy Acres Market in Los Feliz (but actually the tail end of East Hollywood) is phenomenal. From it's great service, staff, security and selections to it's incredible wine, craft brew and spirit selection. Their bakery is by far top notch with iconic items of the vegan variety including a rice crispy style treat. Everything in the store is well labeled and so many of their prices are extra competitive. I stocked my freezer for less than $50, I call that a win. Can't remember the last time I saw some many deals on a lot of my plant-based go to items. Daring Foods, Daiya Pizza, Cheese and Cheesecakes, Gardein, the list goes on! Produce is stellar, slightly pricey, but the quality is top tier w/ majority of things being organic. Ample parking, cozy patio in front for dinning + leisureness. You can do classic or self check-out and they have a lot of utensils as well as essentials you might need if you pick up anything in the hot, cold or pre-made bar sections.
