I only opted for the KBBQ and not the Shabu. AYCE pricing is fair and in-line with other restaurants in the area. The meat and banchan variety was okay; while they had the classic staples you’d expect, the menu was more on the limited side. My biggest gripe was the grill at our table was very weak. It took a long time for the meat to cook, and I didn’t get the char I wanted. I’m not sure if it was just a fluke, but I noticed the table next to us had a much louder sizzle, while I could barely hear sizzles from my grill. From a service perspective, KBBQ can be hectic, but I did like that there are call buttons on the table to get the attention of staff. They did try to help troubleshoot my weak grill at least, but unfortunately the issue was never resolved. Overall, from just a KBBQ standpoint, it wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t my favorite. If I ever were to go again, I might try the Shabu option as it seems like that’s where most of the rave reviews focus on.
Concern Regarding Decline in Service Quality Dear Management Team, I am writing to formally express my concerns regarding a noticeable decline in service quality at your restaurant, which my family and I have loyally visited for over two years. We typically dine with you one to two times per week and have consistently recommended your restaurant to friends and family due to the exceptional service previously provided. For a long time, employees such as Maria, Nicasio, and Yakit created an environment where customers felt genuinely cared for. Orders were accurate, the grill was well maintained, service was prompt, and attention to detail was clearly a priority. During that time, we never experienced missing items or delays, and we never had to repeatedly ring the service bell to place or receive an order. Unfortunately, since the staffing changes and the addition of new employees, our experience has changed significantly. We have encountered missing items in our orders, slower response times (often requiring us to ring the bell multiple times), and a general lack of attentiveness. It is concerning to see employees on their phones rather than actively engaging with customers or monitoring service needs. Additionally, the condition of the grill has declined, appearing burnt and poorly maintained, which directly impacts food quality. I have also noticed a change from romaine lettuce to iceberg lettuce. While I understand that menu changes occur, romaine provided a fresher taste that complemented the barbecue much better, and the current substitution negatively affects the overall experience. At this time, Maria appears to be the only remaining employee consistently providing the level of service we have come to expect. I want to emphasize that our loyalty was built on the care, professionalism, and pride your original staff demonstrated. In fact, I have willingly driven over 45 minutes each way—without traffic—because I trusted that my family and I would receive excellent service. I truly value your restaurant and hope this feedback is taken as an opportunity for improvement. I respectfully encourage management to reinforce service standards, employee accountability, and customer engagement so that long-time customers like myself continue to feel welcome and appreciated when spending our hard-earned money. Thank you for your time and consideration. Sincerely, Eva
My Absolute Favorite Hotpot Spot! This Korean hotpot restaurant is truly the best. I’m here every single week because nothing compares. The broth is always rich, the ingredients, the meats, the veggies, everything is fresh and full of flavor. The staff always treats me well, and the quality is unbeatable. I’ve tried other places before, but once I found this spot, I stopped going anywhere else. It’s my comfort place and my go-to every time I crave hotpot. Highly recommend! 10/10
I went there after I got back from an international trip , literally went there from the airport ,, and I was so happy because they have all I wanted , steamed egg , soups , they didn’t have sweet tea at that time but I loved it
It was out first time here for lunch hour. The restaurant was clean and the waiters were very nice in guiding us how to do the Shabu which was delicious. Waiters would always come in and check on us. I would definitely come back. I only wish that the entire meat selection was priced at the lunch rate. The prime meat during lunch is still priced at dinner price. Other that that it was delicious. I would definitely recommend.
