Wonderful experience at Lee’s Tailor on Western blvd. I’ve had most of my wardrobe tailored there. They’ve done an excellent job with tailoring my trousers and blazers. Lee’s Tailors on Western Boulevard is hands-down the best tailoring experience I’ve had in Raleigh. Ping (the owner) is incredible, and Karen and Anna are both wonderful as well. They’re all patient, skilled, and genuinely kind. I go in fairly often for tailoring and repairs, and they are always welcoming and willing to listen carefully while I figure out exactly what I want done. Today really stood out. I brought back a pair of pants that had been hemmed and looked great, but just didn’t feel comfortable when I wore them. I was worried I was asking too much since I’d already been in a few times about these pants, but Ping couldn’t have been more understanding. She insisted on letting them back out while I was there, even though it was near closing time. She also noticed a jacket I had and tightened the buttons on that too—again, on the spot. She was so kind, accommodating, and generous with her time, and she wouldn’t even let me pay. That level of care and customer service is rare. Ping truly stands behind her work and wants her customers to be comfortable and happy. If you’re looking for expert tailoring with exceptional service, Lee’s Tailors is the place. I won’t go anywhere else.

Ok let me tell you about my my hunt jacket and just how awesome this little shop really is… So backstory… I’m an equestrian, I ride hunt style and needed a tweed for informal season. I had been shopping around and I have really big shoulders which makes most jackets look really awful on me as they are fit and flare and I’m more of a rectangle shape. Imagine good fitting shoulders and tons of fabric at my hips for reference… I had been to Mrs Lee for several other projects but this one truly deserves a five-star commendation. I bought this jacket (see the original photo) because I liked the color, and wanted a heavyweight tweed, and it was the closest thing I could find to what I needed. However, a sport coat is not a hunt coat and hung on me like you would expect a man’s coat to do… I went to Mrs Lee we talked about what I wanted and needed to have done with it to make it a true hunt coat. We took up the shoulders, lowered the collar, made new arm holes, put darts in the front, pulled in the back, stitched down the back split and opened the sides so I could ride in it. I even had the front edge corners more rounded like traditional coats. I mean it was a lot of work!! Basically I asked them to re-engineer this whole coat!! The end result is STUNNING! Not only is this perfectly tailored to me, I got compliments on it all day today (out on the trail today) and it looked and felt impeccable!! And don’t even get me started on how great the silk lining turned out!! Thank you for all your hard work Mrs Lee and the tailor who worked on my coat! I know I definitely asked a lot on this one but you guys smashed it out of the park!

Lee’s Tailor saved me! I had a bridesmaid dress that didn’t fit at all and was a bit stressed before the wedding. They were so nice and reassuring, fixed it quickly, and now it fits perfectly. The price was super fair too and they were able to hem and fix the pockets as well. I’m so thankful and will definitely go back for any other alterations
