Margarita, was the friendliest and did a great job. What great staff you have here. We’ve enjoyed interacting with lots of the employees hunting down pop buttons & trading mini-figures. We stayed at the Castle, the rooms are close to the park, good enough breakfast. The parents bed great, the kids bed actually smaller than a twin. The kids room is separate from parents it’s tiny living but convenient. We did walk to the Burger Joint by Costco one night great food short 10-15 min walk. There’s a gated path and a dirt walking path through the parking lot. There’s coyotes in the parking lot but they didn’t have any interest in us but be aware. We Uber’d from the airport to here and it was $55 bucks but said it was usually $75. It was foggy we just barely made it out of the airport before the shut down flights. First time it’s a slower pace and variety of things to do. Building centers, trading trinkets and looking at the very cool Lego builds.
It's what I expected. A place full of awesome Lego creations. If you're going for the amusement park type of hype, this isn't it. The rides are mostly for younger kids 10 and under I'd say. But the rest of the park is just beautiful if you're there to appreciate the Lego creations all around.
You get your money's worth! There are family rides and rides designed for age groups. We got to go on a real Rollercoaster with our 3 year old and it was truly so cool (we waited in line multiple times because we loved it so much)! Everything was so beautiful and all lit up at night. The snacks and food are overpriced but we only bought popcorn and we all had our own water bottles to refill at refill stations. The rides are fun and short so if you're in a long line it won't be too much of a wait. We LOVED the family rides that accommodated all ages and wish there were more. We did get rained out of a lot of rides but have since spoken to LegoLand about it and they have accommodated our concerns. I truly believe they care about their customers.
We visited on a Saturday, but because rain was forecast, the crowds were low. We had a great time seeing the resort and riding the rollercoasters. Or favorite ride was Emmit's Flying Adventure in the Lego Movie section. We also liked the Dragon Medieval rollercoaster. I highly recommend a visit to this resort.
We had a good time at Legoland. Parents, grandparents and a 2 1/5 year old. Place was clean and employees were nice. I gave them 3 stars because so much of the park needs maintenance. The mini city section was a big disappointment. Buttons to make things move - most did not work. Much of the display was broken and in need of repair. The map on the app was not updated and we took a long walk to avoid the construction because the app is not updated. The park was pretty much empty but on most attractions we had to walk through all of the long queues instead of just letting us skip the lines. We were also surprised that we only saw two characters out in 2 days of walking around the park. Our grandson had fun building and playing in the toddler area. The aquarium was quite a hit!
