We came here for date night with a 6:30pm reservation for a table in the bar area. We arrived to a full restaurant and bar. It was busy mostly due to it being a 3 day weekend and NFL playoffs. We were told we would need to wait about 20mins, Jeff came over and saved the day by letting us know that a group at a bar table would be moving to regular restaurant seating and we could have their table. Jeff went above and beyond not just for us, but for the group that requested to move to restaurant seating because the bar area was too loud. The service by Jeff and our waitress was top notch and made our night perfect. We ordered the Calamari, Aracini, a salad and carbonara. First, the calamari was fresh, perfectly seasoned and delicious - and trust me, my husband and I have had a lot of calamari, this was THE BEST we have had in a long time! The Aracini was also delicious as was the rest of our meal. They have a great selection of red and white wine too along with a variety of house crafted cocktails and drinks. We look forward to coming back in the future.
We had a group around 10. We ordered drinks, then apps. Before the drinks touched the table we were being asked about dinner orders… no big deal. Apps were good. Then entrees arrived 3 cold pastas and two extremely over cooked steaks later I sent the birthday girls steak back. 20 minutes later her new MR steak comes out and the server is asking for dessert orders. The birthday girl is 2 bites into her steak. They then proceeded to bring desserts and tell me they couldn’t find a lighter to light a candle for her. Mean while we comically see three separate candles on desserts go by. Was also told one dessert would be on the house and was charged for both. We never asked for a free dessert so why bring it up and charge us. All in all would not recommend going to this place and spending 250+ for Terrible food and service.
November 24, 2025 - Our “ kids” surprised us with a nice dinner at Leo’s in North Hills ! Not crowded this Monday night, promptly seated . . . Bailee ( our server) introduced herself and guided us through the wine list! We ordered a delightful bottle of dry Chianti! No rush , comfortable atmosphere, easy listening music. . . our daughter & son-in-law shared their Italy trip adventures! Likewise my wife & I shared our Italy trip experiences too! Bailee returns with our Chianti! With the wine poured, Bailee takes our order. . . By memory ! 😃👍 Two meatballs for the table, followed by our 4 entrees. Our new Son, orders Mahi Mahi, butternut squash, in Risotto, with Asparagus, honey & balsamic glaze $28 Our daughter orders Carbonara spaghetti, chicken, peas, pancetta, Parmesan , farm egg $20 My Wife orders Pesto, rigatoni pasta, chicken, pine nuts, sun-dried tomatoes, basil, fresh mozzarella $20 I order Bolognese, fettuccine, ricotta $21 Order of the homemade garlic bread loaf with olive oil dipping sauce 👍 Again no rush , plenty of time for conversation. Bailee checks on us, asking if we need anything😃👍👍 Our food arrives together, hot . . . We enjoyed our entrees, and “ high marks” all around. Very similar to the Italian food we enjoyed in Italy! 🇮🇹 😃👍 I’m surprised that a “ shot of limoncello” didn’t accompany our final dessert . . . Tiramisu! 😃👍❤️. * We had so many different types of Tiramisu in Italy, Leo’s excelled! (Strong coffee flavor ) Suggestion: If you have the time , add a trip to Italy to your bucket list! Try to see as many regions & cities of Italy as possible! I’ll throw in a couple of Italy photos to spark your curiosity! 😃 🇮🇹 Leo’s Italian Social is part of Bret Adam’s CAPRG restaurant organization, with 5 locations . . . in Ohio & North Carolina. My family stopped in for lunch and was impressed by this finer dining experience. The restaurant is connected to the Renaissance Hotel in North Hills. The dining area is huge, with 2 separate offerings for large private parties. We tried the cauliflower and zucchini starters and each were delicious. My brother and I had the turkey with fig sandwich while my mom and son had chicken parmesan while my other son had the eggplant parmesan. None of us could finish the large portions and were too full to try their dessert. The dishes tasted excellent and portions were large. Our server (Gabby) was so friendly and personable. The manager came by a few times to ensure our visit was to our satisfaction. I've also been to their Morrisville location and thoroughly enjoyed that experience as well. I highly recommend this restaurant for a quick lunch or nice dinner, whether it be for business or personal.
