I can’t recommend Les enough as a DJ coach. He’s incredibly patient, supportive, and explains things in a way that actually makes sense in and out of the dj booth. If I’m struggling at home he’ll try his best to explain thing or even zoom call .I always felt encouraged and never rushed, no matter how many questions I had. An amazing coach and mentor — I’ll be back for refresher lessons soon. Thanks Les for everything

I contacted Les to help me and my daughter learn more about DJ'ing and it's been an incredibly joyous and affirming experience. We love going together and even though our music tastes are very different, Les gets to know what we both want to achieve and is laser focused on making that happen. We're only three lessons in but we've got the bug and Les brings a huge amount of energy and enthusiasm which always helps. There is no shaming for anything forgotten, and a real positive attitude. His experience is off the scale, and he helps to solve any problem with mixes and makes sure we both leave happy. Would hard recommend!

Excellent DJ tutor and great venue, highly recommended, I went to Les Calvert as an intermediate DJ having played my first gig after 2 years of lessons elsewhere and looking to get to a more advanced level, after just 4 lessons with Les my skills have really developed and I feel like progress is really happening. Les is also happy to work with the “ behind the scenes “ side of DJing and thoroughly explain the ins and outs of all the software and hardware required to up your game in DJing Whether your a beginner / intermediate or advanced, go for it you won’t be disappointed Cheers Les Will

After purchasing a DJ controller to learn modern DJing, I realised it was a steep learning curve to understand how it works and all the software that goes with it. Went online looking for someone, had previously watched and enjoyed Les’s play when I was out in Liverpool, so thought he would be a good start into the world of DJ’ing. Really didn’t think where it would take me, but absolutely loving it. I now have regular lessons with Les and have learnt so much more than I thought I would. He is patient, explains things well and is just so easy to work with. Always happy to answer questions, and each week I feel that I am progressing well. It’s now been about 4 months since the first lesson, and I am gaining in confidence, really enjoy learning from him, and he has always gone above and beyond!
