📍 Let Them See Cake, Cardiff 🧁 Full review on socials: @thefemalephysicist This weekend we went for the most perfect brunch on Cowbridge Road East in Cardiff. As well as brunch, they do coffee, cakes and afternoon tea. We tried loads off the menu including: 🧁 Gingerbread latte 🧁 Birthday cake matcha 🧁 Hot cocoa for two 🧁 Butty dolig 🧁 Milk & cookie french toast The food and drink was genuinely excellent and all the little details and decorations are so well thought out. Gorgeous Festive Afternoon Tea with a wide variety of canapes and thematic cakes & sweeties. The presentation of the high tea was so lovely that you just don't want to damage each of them, but of course I couldn't wait to try each.😋 The service was excellent. You have to make reservations in advance for high tea. They will get them ready based on the number of bookings.

We ordered the large 4-tier Signature cake for our Wedding Day last weekend. The Salted Caramel flavour was so delicious, and everyone was so happy with the quality and taste. It truly was a fantastic cake for our day - the whole process from order - to payment - to delivery was seamless. Thank you again, team!

I absolutely loved my visit to Let Them See Cake, the staff were all so welcoming, and had great service! In my reservation I mentioned the trip was for my birthday and asked if I could have some kind of special plating for the cake I bought while there and they went out of their way to surprise me with a cupcake. 100% recommend going here for a celebration or casual brunch or even to just pop on and get a sweet treat (their macarons are incredible!)

Coffee? Excellent. The flat white was absolutely perfect — smooth, rich, and exactly to my taste. Now, I’m no coffee connoisseur, but I know what I like — and wow, the espresso & walnut cake was phenomenal. My accomplice went for the strawberry and chocolate slice, and let’s just say there were no regrets (or crumbs) left behind. And don’t even get me started on the macarons… dangerously good. This place is a not-so-hidden gem, and we’re already planning our return — waistline be damned. Thanks for the sweet memories!
