I am so glad I decided to spend the money and invest in a new resume. I've been a federal employee for over 10 years and have a long and repetitive CV made for applying to federal jobs only. My writer Katie condensed my experience into two succinct (and impressive!) pages in under a week's time. I had very few edits to her first draft and we got to the final version in 4 business days. While I haven't used to it apply yet, I am confident the resume will give me the edge I'll need to apply in this challenging market.
I had been delaying updating and tweaking my resume for a long time now and after shopping around decided to contract with Let's Eat Grandma to provide me with 2 versions of my resume I can use in my current job searches. I worked with Will Dudley who was extremely professional, easy to work with, and extremely responsive to not only the back and forth of the updates..but he was open and responsive to my texts, emails and questions/requests. This company is so unique. As I searched for companies to help with my work documents, sending each a copy of my (terrible looking) resume, I got back many negative reviews of it by email. It was cold and made me feel less confident. With LEG, the co-founder of the company made a video with my resume on the screen, couching constructive criticism in complimentary elements. Then I signed up to ask questions and spoke directly to the other co-founder. I was astonished. My writer was the brilliant Daniel Curran. He is incredibly professional and puts you at ease with his patience and warmth. He made the process comfortable instead of embarrassing and difficult. I felt like I was finally getting the support I needed. I know the cost looks high, but it was 100% worth it for my renewed confidence in my job hunt. Thank you, LEG and Daniel!
My experience with Let's Eat, Grandma was wonderful! It was definitely worth the investment! Their customer service is top-notch. When I signed up for an exploratory call, I actually got to speak with one of the co-founders. The writer I worked with was Geneva. I really appreciated her professionalism, friendly demeanor, and responsiveness. No matter what time I reached out to her, she responded in a timely manner. I am still amazed by the outstanding job she did on my documents and LinkedIn page refresh! I have already been praising her to my friends.
