DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! When we arrived and entered the check in reception area all four members of staff turned and blankly stared at us. We weren't greeted with a hello or even a smile. When I told them my name and that we were here to check in one of the girls simply said follow me and got into a van and drove off. It was a very strange experience. When we got to the accommodation, the girl handed us the key and left. She did not explain how to work the hot tub or how to turn on the heating for the accommodation. The carpet in the room had dirt, stones and twigs on it like it hadn't been hoovered before our arrival. The towels provided had orange and black stains on them. The bed had hairs in it. When we went to use the hot tub the first evening, the lid of the hot tub was rotting away and had huge holes so there were leaves, twigs, bugs, and other debris floating around in the murky water. It was disgusting. Not to mention that the water was lukewarm despite the outside heating button being on since we had arrived. That night we couldn't figure out how to work the heating as we were not told and there were no instructions or guides available within the accommodation. It was absolutely freezing all night; we had to sleep with joggers and hoodies over our pyjamas. When we went to the spa, the hot tubs were not even lukewarm in temperature, they were genuinely cold. We could not even sit in one of them for more than 30 seconds. I had even asked the woman at the spa reception were the hot tubs turned on because I couldn't believe how cold they were. She informed me that was just the temperature that they always were. Which is strange as a hot tub should be hot. This was such a disappointment. We had to spend the entire hour and a half in the sauna, taking breaks by walking up and down the path. We were extremely let down. I spent a total of £460 for this weekend trip which is a complete waste of money. We could have gone to the Galgorm for an overnight stay and a visit to the spa village for less than that and we would have had an amazing time.
What a wonderful way to get into the Christmas spirit! This was our first time at an outdoor cinema, and it definitely won’t be our last. The elves guided us to our parking spot to watch the classic Home Alone, and they did an amazing job positioning the cars so everyone had a clear view of the screen. The movie sound played through a radio station, which worked brilliantly. There was a hot food stand as well as a hot drinks stand—absolutely delicious! And thank goodness for the clean toilet facilities, especially after enjoying a lovely hot chocolate with Isabella. We’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend this festive experience.
My partner and I booked over the phone and when we got to the spa there was a mix up with the booking. We were taken care of by two gentlemen that couldn't do enough for us to ensure our time was great and it was. Honestly the nicest spa and staff around Belfast.
We’ve visited Let’s Go Hydro’s Pumpkin Patch in previous years and always had a fantastic time, but this year was a huge disappointment. There were no signs or clear directions, and no staff helping people find where to go. When we finally found it, it was just a small area with very little to do. The website and social media still show old photos and advertise features like the Haunted House and witches that were not there at all. It felt completely misleading and nothing like what was advertised. There were also no biscuits for the s’mores, and the whole event felt rushed and disorganised. We contacted Let’s Go Hydro directly by email about the experience and never received a reply. We left feeling very disappointed. What used to be a fun, family-friendly Halloween event now feels like a letdown and poor value for money. This along with the customer service i would avoid like the plague
Place was terrible. Had booked to stay overnight for daughters birthday. Was told there would be no blankets or pillows in the pod when I booked but girl on the phone said she would get us some as they weren't busy. Couldn't find our pod and was driving around. Maintenance boy was dealing with check in. Asked if I could upgrade and was told no as all booked out. Found loads empty so knew this wasn't true. There was no bedding in the pod. The place hadn't been cleaned. There was a kettle and toaster but no cups or cutlery. Not even so much as a bin bag. Had to leave the accommodation due to all this.Kids enjoyed the water activities and dinner in the restaurant but would not stay in the accommodation
