Thea (the owner) is awesome!! Love having this hidden gem in my neighborhood. I come every week and she’s awesome, best price for drinks anywhere, and a great vibe inside. There’s always puzzles and games to play too so it’s a fun place to go and just hang out. The prices are so reasonable I always leave a 30% tip and it’s still cheaper than other coffee shops. Highly recommend supporting local & coming here!!

After spotting The Other Side from the road and having to do a digital double-take on Google Maps, I am so incredibly glad I followed my curiosity. What looks like a quiet exterior hides a world of eclectic, soulful charm inside. The space is a masterclass in "cozy elegance." Walking through the front is like stepping into a curated dream; you’re greeted by towering, 12-foot ceilings and walls that tell stories, some in exposed brick, others in a moody, deep-sea teal that makes the gold-framed vintage portraits pop. The "Book Nook" is exactly where you want to lose an afternoon, and the light in the "reading room" hits the velvet chairs and that iconic green mid-century sofa in a way that feels like a warm hug. The vibe is beautifully layered: dangling pothos vines soften the industrial edges, while the community puzzle table and shelves of board games (including those gorgeous "Vintage Bookshelf Edition" classics) give it a lived-in, communal heart. And then, of course, there’s Lucille, the mannequin watching over the room with a pillow in hand, who adds just the right amount of "quirky aunt" energy to the atmosphere. The staff was absolutely delightful, taking the time to explain how the space works as both a community hub and a private event venue (which I’m already eyeing for my next get-together). As for the fuel: the Cinnamon Bun Latte was a nostalgic, sugary dream, and the bagel with cream cheese was the perfect, chewy companion to it. The only "downside" is that I want more of it! Currently, the coffee cart only graces us with its presence Friday–Sunday (8am–2pm). I’m crossing my fingers those hours expand soon, because this is a space I could easily spend every Tuesday morning in.
