I attended my first class this morning with Irene. It was wonderful. I felt comfortable and was made welcome. Irenea was a fabulous & relaxed instructor. The atmosphere is perfect & I'm very lucky to have this studio 4 blocks from my County Club home. I'll be a regular from now on!

I have been practicing at Lincoln Yoga Center since I retired over a dozen years ago. I had no previous experience with yoga when I began at the Rathbone Village location. However, I was gradually drawn in by excellent instructors, a very caring atmosphere, and the wide variety of practices and levels offered. When the pandemic necessitated a move to Sheila’s home studio, I continued to enjoy classes in this smaller venue. Sheila modeled a positive, creative approach during a time of turmoil; what an example! A couple of years ago, I had to take a break from yoga to deal with a major health situation. Even though I wasn’t able to practice in the studio for a number of months, my yogi friends didn’t forget about me. 🥰 When I was able to return to a regular practice, I needed to begin very slowly and pace myself. However, I found yoga to be the perfect way to slowly gain strength, flexibility, balance, and confidence in my body’s ability to function “normally.” What a gift! I am now thoroughly enjoying the new studio and, of course, Sheila and her team of excellent instructors. This affirming atmosphere is a perfect fit for me as I practice 2-3 times each week with other yogis who have become friends. I am beyond grateful for Sheila’s skillful, compassionate leadership, and I look forward to Lincoln Yoga’s growth in the future!

Completing my 200-hour yoga teacher training at Lincoln Yoga Center was a truly life-enriching experience. The curriculum was wonderfully well-rounded—blending philosophy, anatomy, and hands-on practice in a way that deepened not just my knowledge, but my personal connection to yoga. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and supportive, creating a nurturing space where everyone feels seen and encouraged. Along the way, I found not only great teachers but also a beautiful community of friends who continue to inspire me. I’m so grateful for the warmth, wisdom, and authenticity that fill this studio. Lincoln Yoga Center is a true gem for anyone seeking growth, connection, and transformation—both on and off the mat. 💛
