Walking into Wild Root Yoga feels like stepping into an entirely different world. Calling it a “spiritual experience” almost sells it short. This is not your typical yoga studio. This is a space of true healing, deep presence, and genuine care. From the moment you arrive, you feel it. No judgment. No expectations. Just respect, safety, and the quiet permission to be exactly who you are. Wild Root Yoga holds space in a way that is rare and deeply needed. It nurtures not just the body, but the heart and the soul. And Brianna… she is something truly special. The kindest human, the kind they honestly don’t make anymore. With the addition of her Reiki offerings, I find myself torn between wanting to shout from the rooftops about how incredible she is and wanting to keep this place as a sacred secret all to myself. Her presence alone is healing. Her work is grounded, intuitive, and profoundly supportive. If you’re looking to do something for yourself this next year, something deeper than just another gym membership or workout routine, consider Wild Root Yoga. Come for your body, stay for your mind, and leave with your soul a little lighter. This place is a gift, and so is Brianna.

As someone having their first session of Yoga, I had a really good experience. I went to the Sunday 10 am flow class lead by Sarah. The energy of the space was calm and welcoming. The class had 9 people and had space for a few more without being crowded. The poses were doable but still deep, and Sarah made sure to explain and demonstrate every stretch and movement clearly, with variations for different intensities. I broke a light sweat. Thirty minutes later I feel loosey goosey, relaxed, and balanced. With the “new student 3 class pack the hour long class only cost 10 bucks, and I’ll definitely go back to use my two remaining passes before they expire. Also, when I was trying to decide which class to start with I messaged their facebook page and they replied pretty quick with a clear answer, which helped me feel welcome as a newbie.

Wild Root Yoga Studio is truly a gem! This incredible space offers so many wonderful opportunities to practice yoga in ways that meet you exactly where you are—physically, mentally, and emotionally. Each class is unique, but the heart of the studio shines through every time: a strong, welcoming, and supportive community that embraces everyone who walks through the door. The instructors are absolutely amazing—kind, knowledgeable, and deeply encouraging. They create an environment where all levels are celebrated, offering modifications and guidance so everyone can find the movement that feels best in their own body. There’s never any pressure, only gentle encouragement to listen, breathe, and move in a way that feels right. For me, Wild Root has become so much more than just a yoga studio. It’s a place where I can truly prioritize myself—where I can calm my nervous system, find connection, and restore a sense of peace in a world that often feels busy and chaotic. The sense of community is incredible; from the moment you walk into class, both the instructor and other participants greet you, introduce themselves, and make you feel like you belong. If you’ve been searching for a place that nurtures both your body and your spirit, this is it. I can’t recommend Wild Root Yoga Studio enough—try a class and experience for yourself just how special this community is!

**UPDATE** I've been attending classes at Wild Root Yoga for over three years now, and I just cannot say enough great things about this studio. It's unlike any other studio I've ever gone to, 100% because of the owner, the teachers, and the other students. I've made some of my best friends in Lincoln at this studio, and I'm there every chance I get. You will not be judged for your body type, experience level, ability, or anything else that makes you, you. If you're looking for recommendations, the Saturday morning 10:00 am class really gives you a feel for the heart of the studio. Groove at 5:30 pm on Mondays is somatic dance, and it is so much fun. If you've never experienced a real yoga high, the 6:00 pm class on Thursdays is something you'll never forget. Any of the nidra or restorative classes set me up to get the best sleep ever when I get home, and the functional strength classes are awesome for toning. If you're nervous, just go. Everything (even Ashtanga) is beginner-friendly and you won't regret it. **Original review** I started coming to Wild Root about 8 months ago, and I'm not being dramatic when I say it has been life-changing. What sets Wild Root apart from other yoga studios is how welcoming everyone is. All of the instructors and other students make a point to meet you and welcome you to class. When you return, they ask how your week has gone and genuinely care about your answer. It seems simple, but as someone who isn't from this area, I was blown away by the hospitality at Wild Root. I've never been to a yoga studio that cared this much about their students. I've taken classes with almost all of the instructors, and they are wonderful, authentic people who care about you and your body. It feels like hanging out with a group of close friends. For the last 2.5 months, I've attended a class every day, and I've never felt this great. I'm not just physically stronger and more confident, but I'm also more at peace mentally. Go. Join. You will love it.

Wild Root Yoga is something special. The ethos of inclusivity and warmth is woven into every class, every conversation, and every interaction. Wild Root fosters fitness, flexibility, and strength, but it also offers something deeper—an opportunity for grounding and genuine community. Brianna has done a great job gathering a group of teachers with a wide range of styles. Whether you're looking to move through a Vinyasa flow or ground into a meditative space with Yoga Nidra, you'll find it here, in a space that feels both beautifully curated and deeply authentic. And if you’re up for something different, try Groove! with Tiffany—an energizing, freeing way to move and connect through dance. Wild Root has meant a lot to me, and if you're looking for a yoga studio that’s about more than just movement—one that prioritizes connection, mindfulness, and community—then Wild Root is for you.
