There are several reasons why shopping in store is better than shopping online. The personal touch, the experience, the immediate answers to questions, the problem solving. My husband and I were working with Jared today to get outdoor speakers for our patio. We weren't planning on spending two hours there, but we did. Granted most of that time was going into the "fun rooms" and listening to some of the best stereo systems you will ever hear, but it was worth every minute. He took the time to actually listen to us and what we were wanting/needing. He was honest and upfront when I told him what we were initially looking at and said, "those are fine, but for the same price you can do better." He was right. Long story short, do yourself a favor and shop at this store instead of online. Go visit the "fun rooms" and hear music like you have never heard it before. You can't get that experience sitting in front of a computer.

Great service by Listen Up, fair pricing for the gear and a lot of knowledge. Donald Wells was the great technician I was fortunate to work with, professional, knowledgeable, efficient and customer friendly. He installed speakers in walls and ceiling as well as a couple of bluesound power nodes for my living room surround music system. He even offered to fix a glitch on my home theater that I was dealing with at that time. Great job!

Scott (aka Fred) at ListenUp on Pearl lived up to the name of the store. He listened to what my modest needs were and made excellent and affordable options. I have a very small home and as a novice to audio geared toward vinyl listening, my concern was over buying a set of speakers. The Kef Q150 are perfect! I was able to drive over to the Evans Ave. warehouse to pick them up. He was able to prep two lengths of audio cable for me, and the store also had record cleaner options and I picked up the audio-technia set. I'll be back as soon as funds allow to upgrade my amplifier and get the most out of the speakers. No patronizing tone, no over-talking, just genuine expert advice.

I honestly didn't know what to expect when I walked into this store. I was simply trying to compare different tower speakers for a new home setup. Initially, I hoped to hear the SVS Titans compared to similar towers, but WOW! The selection of different speakers they have on display, with virtually every possible amp/AVR combination to really hear the differences, is truly an incredible experience. From multi-channel home theater systems to stunning two-channel setups, I was blown away by hearing the differences between all the different speakers, types, and amplification throughout all their demo rooms. It's pretty shocking to hear what real high-end speakers can do (Focal Diva Utopia, Maestro Utopia Evo, and some Sonus Faber Olympica), and I'm thankful to Jared for showing me those systems (even if I can't afford them, haha). Jared Dunlap is an exceptional person and resource at ListenUp to explore all the different speaker systems and setups and what would work best for your use cases. He's incredibly knowledgeable, passionate, and great at explaining the different systems and their nuances to help you pick the best speakers for your setup. I highly recommend you ask for Jared if you're at this store to explore their systems and figure out a system that works best for you. After this visit, Jared helped me work through exactly what I want for my home system, and I can't wait to get everything ordered and set up in my home!
