A lovely little caffe always worth a visit when on the coast. A nice new menu with heaps of good value meals. I had the breakfast burger and a long black! Will deff be back

Such a lovely little spot by the beach! 🌊☕ The café has a really relaxed, welcoming vibe 😍perfect after a walk along the sand. The coffee was smooth and well-made, and the food was fresh with generous portions (highly recommend the avo toast and muffins!). Staff were friendly, quick, and genuinely cared about making sure everything was right.

I honestly don’t understand what happened to this place. Who puts cinnamon on a matcha? I ordered the chili scrambled eggs and it looked awful — rubbery bread, dry bacon, and just a careless splash of chili sauce on top. The coffee was cold, and I asked for a latte but was given a flat white instead. They even add a 10% Sunday surcharge, which wouldn’t matter if the food was any good, but it was terrible and felt like a complete waste of money. The food wasn’t warm. The new Istanbul-style menu is disappointing, the blue painted walls look strange, and nobody bothered to check if the food was okay. Plus, the staff all looked so serious and unhappy. The tall waiter kept pacing around aimlessly, which was distracting, and when I mentioned the bacon was too dry, he simply passed the plate to the kitchen without a word and went back to wandering. This place used to be so much better under the old owner. Honestly, they should visit other cafés and learn how food presentation and service are done. Won’t be coming back.

Great coffee and atmosphere. If you are looking for something with good coffee and food options around this area, this is it. Lots of space and heaps of people working on their laptops so it gives it a good vibe if you seek working remotely.

SO impressed with Little Mermaid Cafe and Bar! Just yesterday we had our baby shower here and we were so beyond amazed with the food, atmosphere, staff, communication and just everything. They were so easy to work with and communicate with about what we needed, they allowed us to come an hour early to set up the space how we liked and we had a whole separate inside and outdoor area for our guests. The food was absolutely delicious and we had so many compliments from our guests. They truly made our day so incredibly special and we will be recommending this space to all of our family and friends. Thank you so much to everyone at Little Mermaid, you made it a day to remember and we are so grateful!
