This score has been modified as of 12/29. The owner reached out directly to address the matter and it is much appreciate. Hope make up the experience at a later date. Wine delicious. Service could be better as I was denied a tasting due to staffing, which is no problem even as a 1 person. However, the table behind me was a party of 4 and received a tasting.
I had a great time at Llano Estacado selling jewelry and got to try a number of great wines, really enjoyed the grounds as well as the winery itself. The white, the Chardonnay are excellent and probably from distressed grapes that make the wine taste better. West Texas is good for that and it usually pays off. Many almost replant and most go replant before yields increase and grapes that are best make enough for wine. Llano is a little older and wiser I think than most and their wines are sophisticated, tasty and well managed. Sometimes being old is a good thing!
Loved the wine festival this weekend! It was my first time at a place like this and loved being with family here. The vendors were so cute and loved all the wine! One thing I would say is I went to try the bar near the coffee vendor and a worker or volunteer McKenzie was very rude and immature I was pretty disappointed, seemed like she was a little young to be here especially working this festival. Over all loved the rest of the sweet workers at all the tasting booths.
We had such a wonderful experience at Llano Winery! Grace was our host, and she was absolutely amazing—kind, welcoming, and very knowledgeable. She guided us through a tasting of five different wines, each unique and enjoyable. The atmosphere was relaxed and the premises were beautiful, making the whole experience even better. We truly enjoyed our visit and will definitely be coming back! This was a great start to our anniversary celebration.
I recently photographed a wedding here and it was absolutely stunning. The staff were all amazing and very helpful. They even took me on a small tour making sure I knew how to get to the barrel room. I was able to take wedding portraits in the barrel room and they turned out pretty amazing. It was a wedding to remember. Definitely recommend having your wedding here.
