Today I bought a Taylor MS-mini, trading in my Fender Concert acoustic. Rob Medeiros did his best to get what I feel was a very fair and equitable price for my trade in and my new guitar. It was a pleasure dealing with L&M and Rob. Highly recommend them.

The staff here are knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. They take the time to explain things and help find the right product for you. My mom recently bought her first guitar and both Jason and Caleb took the time to find her one that would work for her. So appreciate the quality customer service.

❗️Be Aware❗️ Dont recommend this place, rather go to Long and mcquade Burlington. This place trying to scam customers. Base on my experience, Im wrting this review for the customers to be aware in every transaction you will do to this store. One day, I went and brought my piano in the store for trade in. I trading my RD88 to a JUNO 76 key. I talked to one customer sevice agent and he help me with the trade in. He inspected my piano and appraise it for the price and he told me that the price of my piano is $1199 almost $1200. The new juno piano is way to expensive, I told him to find me a used one. Then he found a demo/used one for $1250 then the tax will be $162 HST, I said that would be great. Then the piano needs to be order and deliver it in Hamilton branch, they told me that they will contact me if the piano arrives in the hamilton. Then when it is time to pick it up, the guy that I talked before, he is on day off. Then another agent assisted me. ❗️the time Im paying the balance, I was shocked❗️they told me that they will just buy my piano for $800 from the price they told me of $1200. They told me, ohh we will just buy it for 70% for the price. ❗️which the first guy never mentioned to me about the 70% and the price is $800. Not a single word when I came for inquiry and appraisal for trade in. They want me to bite the hook, right on the spot. And I said “No”, that is not what we talked about during the appraisal and inquiry. The previous agent never ever mentioned to me the price of $800 or 70%. Im luckily I just caught this on time before I pay for the trade in. Im a regular customer since the beginning on Long and Mcquade, but what they did to me, I lost my trust to them. I will recommend for everyone to go the other branch of long mcquade, or just buy your instrument directly to the manufacturer of the instruments or other music store.

Absolutely amazing store! Staff is approachable and friendly! Helped us right away with fixing our guitar with a complimentary tuning and cleaning! Allowed my kids to wander the store and try new things. Best experience I have had anywhere! There is also an amazing raffle right now for great prizes and proceeds go to mcmaster kids! Going to be looking into some lessons they offer as well!

I’ve been eyeing this esp Ltd Telecaster model for about a year now. Originally I was chasing this guitar all around southern Ontario just trying to get a demo on it and I finally got to try it out in at the Hamilton location. The staff are super friendly and were very helpful with all my questions and concerns about the features of the guitar. Shoutout to Rob and all the L&M staff for the guidance and providing me with a wonderful shopping experience, I’m stoked to get to shredding on this beast and I will definitely return to this store for all my musical needs ❤️
