We had a great experience working with Eric Beck at Lorenzo's dog training. Our bernedoodle pup had bad manners and poor listening. Eric boarded our dog for several days and kept us updated with photos and videos. Then when our dog came home, Eric worked with us and our children in our home. We learned to create boundaries, use commands and be consistent as a family. Eric is extremely knowledgeable and great with dogs. We were referred to Lorenzo's by friends and are so glad that we were. The experience was transformational and we are so thankful to Eric and Lorenzo's.

Hiring our trainer Eric Beck from Lorenzo’s Dog training team was the best decision we made for our dog and our family. We did on leash training and off leash training and saw immediate results. Eric was flexible, kind, knowledgeable and always so helpful answering any questions I had re training. Because of all that we learned and how well our dog Skye responded to the training, our whole life is better. She is thriving and happy and we are thoroughly enjoying her. Things like Taking her on walks used to be difficult but isn’t an issue at all anymore, car rides were chaotic but aren’t anymore. I’m just really thankful for our experience and it was definitely worth every penny to be able to move out of survival mode with your dog into thriving mode! Would highly recommend Eric!

I can’t say enough great things about Lorenzo’s, specifically Eric Beck and the incredible work he did with my dog, Orzo! He had Orzo for a two-week boarding period, and during that time he consistently sent me updates, pictures, and videos showing Orzo’s progress — along with fun clips of him just enjoying being a dog. That meant so much to me, because I love this dog dearly, and seeing how cared for and happy he was made me feel completely at ease. Since Orzo “graduated,” the difference has been amazing. I can take him for walks without being pulled down the street, he listens and respects commands, and I can finally take him out in public without worrying about how he’ll behave. What really stood out was that Eric didn’t just train Orzo — he trained me and my daughters, too. He showed us how to use the right commands, leash handling techniques, and even the tone of voice to use for the best results. Eric’s patience, skill, and genuine care for dogs truly shine through. I would recommend him over and over again. Thank you, Eric, for everything you’ve done for Orzo and for our family! 🐾

We had a lot of issues with our beautiful silver lab pup, Maverick, that came to us from the breeder too early. He was very aggressive, ignored commands, needless to say training wasn’t going well. We were contemplating rehoming him when we thought we’d give one more attempt at training. We really wanted to love him and have him as part of our family. Lorenzo’s seemed like the way to go for us. Jacob Perez came and evaluated Maverick. He worked with Maverick in his home for several days and with us and Maverick on the same page. After a few months of reinforced training, we saw huge improvements. Maverick is now a beloved member, even when he has toddler tantrums. We are very grateful to Jacob for all his efforts. He still reaches out and checks on how things are going and welcomes us to classes if we need a refresher.

From Client to Joining the Team: In 2013, I welcomed a dog into my life who struggled with severe behavioral issues from the start. She was strong-willed and highly aggressive toward other animals. Despite reaching out to multiple trainers, I couldn’t find the results I desperately needed. By 2017, I was on the verge of giving up on training solutions. Then I discovered a card for Lorenzo’s Dog Training Team (LDTT) and decided to give it one last try, driven by my unwillingness to give up on those I love. From the moment the evaluation began, I knew this experience would be different from my previous encounters with trainers. The professionalism was evident the instant my trainer walked through the door. In our brief discussion about goals and challenges, I received clear, insightful education. The defining moment came when the trainer handled my dog in front of me. For context, my dog was barking, frenzied, and lunging at the trainer’s dog. In about 30 seconds, my trainer calmed her down, making her completely unaware of the other dog’s presence. I was astonished and immediately exclaimed, “When can we start!” The training was intensely focused and required discipline on my part, but it was life-changing in a remarkably short time. This profound experience inspired me to help others struggling with their dogs. I took a leap of faith, abandoned my other career pursuits, and dove headfirst into a career as a dog trainer. The transition wasn’t easy, as I was accustomed to a 9-5 structure. Fortunately, I had mentors who guided me through a transformative journey of personal growth, business development, and dog training expertise. As things began to click, my skills with clients and dogs flourished, and my commitment to personal improvement transformed me into a better person overall. My life changed for the better in ways I never imagined. I’m incredibly grateful to have experienced life as both a client and a trainer. Lorenzo and the LDTT team have been inspirational, caring, humble, and supportive throughout my entire journey. I couldn’t ask for a better company to be part of as I help spread their mission to others.
