Lotus Rehab - Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy

Dr. Latimer is kind, incredibly knowledgeable, and such a great listener. We got to the bottom of the pain in my first session. For a long time I couldn’t quite figure out where exactly the pain was and it is such a relief to finally put a name to it, and have an action plan. The office is wonderfully set up and welcoming. Would absolutely recommend!

I finally chose to visit Lotus Rehab after having my twins, when everything I was doing at home to help myself recover wasn’t working for me and I didn’t understand what was wrong. To be honest, I didn’t think I needed pelvic floor therapy at first—I thought I could just take care of it at home—but after 18 months of having the twins, I was still struggling with bladder leakage, constant lower back pain and inability to engage my core during exercise, especially without excessive doming. After just one session with Ashley, I already feel extremely empowered, informed, and excited to tackle the healing journey so I can finally feel like myself again and get back to doing the things I used to do without pain before the pregnancy. Ashley is AMAZING—she is incredibly likeable and immediately made me feel completely at ease in a potentially uncomfortable situation. I love how knowledgeable she is and how she explains everything at a level that I can understand. She was able to help me understand how everything is connected muscularly and she identified areas that are causing my symptoms that I never would have thought to consider. In just that session alone, I already saw progress and am excited to try the exercises she gave me to do at home as they seem extremely helpful and practical. I am feeling very hopeful for the first time in awhile and am looking forward to working with her on my healing journey. Overall, the clinic had a very calming ambiance and the staff was very welcoming. Hannah at the front of the office is very personable and super helpful. She made all of the administrative parts of my visit extremely seamless which definitely helped to ease my stress coming into the clinic as I was a bit nervous at first. I left feeling like I had truly taken time to show my body some love and self care after having my sweet babies and giving my all to them. I can’t wait to experience full restoration and am confident that it will happen with the team at Lotus!

Lotus Rehab is fantastic! I see Sarah and originally started coming for pelvic floor therapy after having my third baby. Now I also come in for dry needling and help with treating migraines and neck/lower back pain. I am grateful that there is a dictated space that focuses on women’s wellness and health using a holistic and individualized approach to treating women. Lotus’s office is calm and peaceful and is a true blessing to me and my journey toward healing and wholeness. Sarah has a such a beautiful and calm spirit and I have felt right at home every time I am here. I cannot recommend Lotus enough!

It's really hard to express fully what I have experienced at Lotus because this place has impacted my life positively as no other healthcare provider has! I have mainly seen Holly and started with her for pelvic floor issues. She made me feel so comfortable when I was so low and felt so broken. She thoroughly explained anatomy and how it's all connected and impacts the rest of my body in such a fascinating and helpful way. I ask a lot of questions and she always welcomes them and is willing to explain until I feel I understand. Nothing is off limits with Holly. I have benefitted from her integrative approach in multiple areas of preventative health. I trust her completely for pelvic floor issues but rely on her input for so much more than that. I feel so genuinely cared for by Holly and sense she cares for all her patients in the same way. I recently saw Laina for the first time and I loved how she had a different but equally caring and helpful demeanor and approach. With both providers I experienced a whole person oriented approach to whatever issue I was experiencing. They work in a really helpful and collaborative way which I love. After my recent visit where I saw Laina, "brilliant" was the word that came to mind for how both Holly and Laina understand bodies and the implications of how strain or weakness will impact the rest of my body. Laina has even seen my husband and has been so valuable to him by helping him to learn how to properly engage and activate muscles for the exercising he's doing. Both he and I schedule, "Help! I messed up my back (or whatever) appointments" and we can get dry needling, stretching, exercises and taping. If you're still reading this and are considering scheduling at Lotus, you will be so grateful if you do! EVERY person in this place exudes care and kindness. You will be seen and cared for as an individual at Lotus. This place is a real asset in my life and I'm so grateful to have found them!

Coming to Lotus Rehab and seeing Holly has been life changing! She educated and helped me understand the reason why I was feeling discomfort in my pelvic floor. All her knowledge and education also transformed my everyday workouts at the gym! Highly recommend Lotus and Holly. Thank you so much.
