Lune Brisbane is centrally located, but the way it’s tucked in makes it surprisingly easy to miss if you’re not actively looking for it. Compared to the Melbourne outlet, it’s much quieter, which actually makes for a more relaxed visit. The coffee and croissants were very good, exactly what you’d expect from Lune. The croissants are on the expensive side, but the quality and execution are solid. There’s no seating available, however standing and eating works fine for a quick stop. A nice bonus was the complimentary sparkling and still water. Staff were friendly, efficient, and welcoming, which added to the overall experience. Overall, a great option for high-quality pastries and coffee in the CBD — just more of a grab-and-go spot than a place to linger.
I’m not a big fan of pastry(sweets)😅 But I have heard: Lune in Melbourne is called “Best beautiful croissant in the world🥳” Their croissant is prepared over 3 days 😳 I was very interested in having them🥰 I got Traditional, Pain Au Chocolate and Kouign Amann today😊 My favourite was Kouign Amann🤩 It's quite sweet but it's not just sweet🥳 I would love to try different types next time😋😋😋
Hands down my favourite bakery in Australia!! Their croissants are amongst the best ones I have tried here. There is plenty to choose from and you will be spoiled for choice! Their coffees are equally good and service is prompt. It’s a must visit! 👏🏼
The pastry selection was excellent. Chose a variety of pastries and paired them with a coffee and cappuccino. The ham and cheese was delectable, and the monkey bread was a delightful treat with its sweet and fluffy texture. You have the option to dine in at the stand-up counter, but be prepared for a slight wait outside on the line.
The famous croissant place from Melbourne which opened up in Brisbane. Came here in the morning, there are plenty of people waiting, but the wait wasn’t that long. The place is quite small and they also only offer take away services. Ordered a variety of their croissants, including the classic butter and almond croissants. This croissant is quite overrated, selling at a higher price tag, but the quality is not worth the price. They all taste good, but overall lack finesse. The butter croissant has a nice flaky texture, but it was oily. The kouign-amann has nice flavours, although it’s slightly too sweet. The almond croissant is the best one by far. Despite the nice flavours and tasty croissants, but overall quality can be improved, especially for the price they set up.
