Amazing car wash! Denzel helped us, we said we were on a road trip and he was efficient and kind. Got a great wash so my passenger can take good road trip pics. Also had my cat in the car and he handled it really well, which I say is a plus for this car wash too. And got cute little air fresheners
I’ve been a Luv Car Wash member for about two years since the value is so good for the member price. I usually go to the location on my route home off the 5, but I stopped by the Kearny Mesa location this time and I’m genuinely impressed. The wash itself was excellent on the first pass (though I usually run it twice anyway), and the towels were noticeably more moist and effective than at other car washes. Huge shoutout to Quinex, who guided me in and went above and beyond by power-washing all of my Audi’s rubber mats without hesitation. That level of service really stood out. Honestly, this location alone might make me go the extra mile just to come here. Highly recommend.
its a car wash. they got a good vacuum good aor pressure and rags with cleaning solution bottles. you can even being a power station and buff out stuff here if you want. 10 bucks and its all yours. easy acess off the 805 down balboa.
People there are amazing, they're extremely helpful and jump at every opportunity to assist. The wash is easy on the paint and they have everything needed for both interior and exterior cleaning. Denzel takes the cake by far, he has helped me with pressure washing my weather mats and shining my tires. Overall a great place!
I usually don’t leave negative reviews, but I feel I need to share my experience so others won’t go through what I did. On August 22, 2025, I visited Luv Car Wash (7959 Balboa Ave, San Diego, CA 92111) for a regular wash. During the wash, I suddenly heard a loud noise, and when I checked my car afterward, my Tesla’s front windshield was cracked. I was shocked and immediately reported it to the staff, submitting photos and a written report right away. I waited, hoping the company would contact me, take responsibility, and help resolve the issue. But instead, I was told that it was “100% not their responsibility.” That was all — no real investigation, no follow-up, no sincere effort to make things right. In the end, we had to pay out of our own pocket to replace the windshield, even though the damage clearly happened inside their car wash. It was extremely disappointing and frustrating to be treated this way. I’m writing this review not out of anger, but because I believe customers deserve to be treated fairly. I truly hope Luv Car Wash learns to handle situations like this with honesty, accountability, and care for their customers.
