Booked a table for 7 to celebrate my daughter's 17th bday with her friends. Most of us had the $20 lunch menu otions and oh my, such value for money. My bday girl's pizza 🍕 was enormous. I loved my pasta dish. Highly recommend 👌

I used to come here pretty often but not recently. I came back again after 5-6 years and it still tastes great! It was very packed around 2pm at weekend, but luckily we had a spot without any booking. Recommend to book in advance though. We had Calamari fries and truffle pasta for main. It was very busy with may customers but staff was very attentive and efficient, we didn’t have to wait for drinks etc. I enjoyed the meal very much, i’ll try go bam more often!

We stopped in without a reservation and were seated immediately. The service was wonderful, attentive and friendly without being overbearing. We shared the Calamari Fritti, which was fried with a perfect lemon and pepper seasoning and served on a rocket and almond salad with aioli. The Ravioli with butter and sage was homemade, filled with ricotta and topped with crispy prosciutto, caramelised walnuts, a balsamic glaze, and shaved Parmesan. We also had the pan fried cauliflower and broccoli with garlic. To drink, we had water, an excellent Dirty Chai, and a house made mocktail. This was plenty of food for two people. The atmosphere here is really nice and relaxed, something the staff definitely contribute to. The food is outstanding. I'm so happy we found this place. Funny story, we came back as a last minute decision, just for tiramisu. It was just after 9 pm which is around closing time. They were very gracious to allow us in just to eat my desired dessert.

We visited this lovely establishment back at the end of 2023, a date night special. Italian cuisine is one of our favourites and we'd heard good things about Maccaroni Trattoria. We didn't have to wait long for service when entering, provided with water and menus right away. Nice expansive menu and the food hit that sweet spot. A great spot to hit that Italian craving.

Great place, not far from the Flinders Street Station - a natural reference point in Melbourne. We did not have a reservation and were granted a 1.5 h time slot which was perfectly fine. Very well arranged interior which makes you feel you are visiting a truly Italian restaurant. Attentive and swift service. We enjoyed all dishes served: bruschetta, frito misto, pizza Marinara and gnocchi pesto. Delicious! Grazie!
