Great group of people who do a lot for the community. Shout out to Ms. Wanda, Mr. Warren, Mr. Wilkes and many others for making this place a lifeline for many.
Very nice facility, great leaders providing valuable services (training in sport & fitness but also in the computer lab), and a focal point for food donations.
When I arrived the police had the entire block cordoned off. After sitting in the gym for about one hour, before being asked to exit the building. Approximately, 90 minutes later the first match started; about 10 minutes into the program a big brawl broke and I chose not to wait. If I have a choice, I'll never return to this location.
Went there a couple years ago. I heard people saying "whitey is lost" and "this cracker done lost his mind" making me feel uneasy. Mind you, I was born and raised in Baltimore City and served in the Marine Corps. The employees didn't want to acknowledge me and the few that did were confused when I said I wanted to train there. When I was getting dressed I heard a guy I assume was a trainer telling a guy to knock me out and don't stop hitting me until I stopped moving. Needless to say I put my Marine Corps uniform on and got out of there before they did whatever they were thinking about. Something about this black urban culture blaming and attacking whites needs to stop.

Building champions in the ring and the community since 1974.
