every community needs an awesome book shop. macleans is ours in the hamilton/islington area. well stocked and immaculate. good business' always start at the top and macleans exudes a wonderful sense of community and engagement.

One of my favourite bookshops in Newcastle. Staffed by a friendly team who will happily help you find the perfect books, love talking about books, with a warmly inviting shop front stocked with a broad selection of new releases, favourites and classics, plus an excellent section for younger readers. If they don't have it in store, they will find it for you. They make online browsing easy as well, and I love their click and collect service. They're also incredibly responsive to online queries and they're service is exceptional. I'll keep coming back!
