I always have so much fun at their open mic! Cheapest drinks in Gaslamp with free entertainment. Would definitely recommend for a first date or boys night out

Mad House is my favorite late night spot downtown. Affordable drinks and free open mic every night. The staff is the best! Gabe, Karoline, Freda, Dayton, Ashley, Corey…. You can’t go wrong!!

5/5 stars – great atmosphere, talented comedians, friendly staff, and excellent value. I went for a night of stand‑up comedy and was blown away by how much laughter filled the room. The live comedy was nonstop and the vibe was perfect for a date night comedy. I’ll definitely be back for more upcoming comedy events.

We came on a Thursday night and it was a small crowd maybe 12 of us, but it was one of the best comedy experiences I've had. The comics were all mostly funny and the headliner was hilarious, my girlfriend left something behind and it was still there two hours later, just shows to the kind of crowd that hangs out here. Good people. Good drinks. Wish there was food.
