Magnolia Bakery in NYC never disappoints. I’ve always loved their bakery items, but their blueberry cheesecake is on a whole different level — fresh, creamy, and absolutely delicious. Every visit feels like a treat. The place has that classic, cozy charm. Honestly, New York City means Magnolia to me.

I’ll be honest, I don’t care about pudding. In fact, I care even less about banana pudding. However, I got the banana pudding and it’s been three and a half hours and I want more. It’s whipped, there are small banana pieces in it (not a lot) and there’s a lady finger hanging out in the center of the whipped banana matrix, saturated along its edges. Think banana cream pie filling. It’s basically a deliciously creamy banana cream pie in a paper cup. Not too sweet either. Thank you Magnolia’s. I’ll be back for more next time.

I love their sweets and my favorite is the cupcake velvet cream cheese. It's so soft and so delicious. There are varieties of sweets and drinks. The service is fast with nice staffs. It's between 49th and 50th Street on 6th Avenue. The service is to Go because there is no sitting area but you can cross the street and enjoy your sweets near the fountain.

The banana pudding was SO good! I read that the banana pudding is the thing to get here and was not disappointed. I shared a small one with my partner and that was sufficient as we were eating plenty of other foods as well. It was the perfect flavor and texture. We went around 2 hours before closing and there was a small line in the store but closer to closing when we walked past again, there was a long line out the door, so timing matters if you want to avoid lining up. They were also nice enough to give us some water cups.

Order to go, came for this famous banana pudding. No chairs, tap to pay available, no napkins available besides requesting from cashier. Was mostly like a mixture or parfait of layered cream, cake cubes, and whipped frosting. Was pretty good, but fairly certain I've had comparable from some of my hometown pudding specialty places. Had a brownie too, was just a brownie. Cakey. Staff were direct and clear. Most people seemed to come in and congregate nearby the back to read the available options, but the staff call out for whoever's next. Makes the queue flow quickly.
