This place has the best variety of plants — it’s such a joy to visit and just get lost among all the greenery. The atmosphere is nice and. The staff is good too, but Brandon goes above and beyond! He’s patient, incredibly knowledgeable, and it’s clear he genuinely loves what he does. He’s warm, approachable, and always has great suggestions. Plus, if you ever need it, he speaks Spanish too! 🌿💚

Mahoney's in Winchester is huge. Excellent selection of houseplants. They were a little light on alocasias and anthuriums but fully stocked on everything else. I love that they had tiny plants for $4, so you can have a lot of little unique plants for not much money. The price for houseplants was not bad and they are very healthy plants. Many were also different from the houseplants we saw at their Falmouth and Oserville stores, too. They had a great clearance section, too. They also had a huge selection of pots. They were really nice and very unique. I can't wait for the spring to see what they have for outdoors. The lot was massive. I'm sure we will be equally impressed. The staff were helpful. They have an adorable tabby you can meet upon entrance. They took great care in packing our plants for travel, too. I always appreciate that. I highly recommend taking a trip there. You will not be disappointed.

We visited on 12/19/24 and found the exact succulents we were looking for. The place was clean and organized. I was inspired to write a review because staff, Lucreti (apologies if I misspelled name), was so kind, and it was clear she loves plants. She even offered a box with bags to keep them warm on the cold ride home.

Mahoney Garden Center is fantastic with large selection of plants. They offer a great range of both indoor and outdoor plants, so you’re sure to find what you need. The location is also amazing—right next to a giant stone cliff, which makes for a beautiful and unique setting. Shopping here feels special because of the stunning natural backdrop. My favorite branch is the Winchester location, specifically because of its breathtaking scenery. The center is well-organized, making it easy to find your way around and discover different plants. Whether you’re looking to spruce up your indoor space or garden, Mahoney Garden Center has something for everyone. Springtime at Mahoney Garden Center is particularly vibrant and busy, with a massive amount of beautiful plant choices.
