Don’t walk into this store unless you want to get SHOUTED. Very rude staff. She kept SHOUTING extremely loud at me many times and the whole store could hear her rude shout. There were still other customers inside the store and I asked if I could just take a look and leave. But she continued to SHOUT at me without any respect saying WE ARE CLOSED!!!!!! I have never experienced such terrible customer service for my entire life. She could just TALK to me if she wanted me to leave. This store shows no respect to its customers at all. I already received very poor customer service for my previous experiences, just not as terrible as this time. I used to be a regular customer of this brand and got a collection of its jewelry. You are NOTHING without support from your customers. I will never walk into this store again. Good luck with your business.
What a fantastic store! I’d leave 6 stars if I could. The staff is so helpful and I like that the products are all locally made and unique, and expertly curated. I came for a nice set of earrings for this wonderful woman I’m dating, but also found this amazing hand made leather journal. This place is a treasure. I will definitely be back! A big thank you to the amazing staff who helped narrow down the vast selection to get to the perfect gift! 👌
Ask for Cecilia, and you will get fantastic service! Cecilia from Makers Market Santana Row helped with a gift exchange and subsequent shipping to my son in SoCal. I was overwhelmed by her stellar customer service. She texted photos of the exchange options for my out-of-town gift recipient to save me a trip to the boutique. Ultimately, Cecilia arranged for the jeweler to provide a silver replica of the gold necklace I’d gifted. This was above and beyond service, and I was impressed. Fast-forward a week, and we realized we’d forgotten to add the apartment number to our shipping address. She graciously helped rectify the issue despite it being completely our fault. I recommend Cecilia, and I hope her manager realizes how hard she works to ensure excellent customer experience. Thank you, Makers Market for a unique gift selection and amazing customer service!
Such a cute lil store. The staff are so friendly and kind. We talked about our tattoos and they were helpful with any questions. Very nice pen and pencil collection to choose from.
I walked in and recieved zero greeting. The lady behind the desk just looked at me and looked back down at the register in distaste. I wanted to purchase bath items and was looking at the shelves when a Caucasian family walked in and the lady behind the register immediately walked out from behind the counter top and greeted them vivaciously, proceeded to say items in the store were all homemade & showed sale items & clothing. Asked them if they had any questions, Please don't hesitate to ask. Still she ignored me. Another white couple walked in & she was ecstatic and her customer service was amazing. Still she ignored me. So I'm assuming based off how I look, tattoos & colored, I wasn't good enough for the customer service end of things. Please don't judge a book by it's cover. I own a successful business myself here in San Jose and although I may look a bit rough around the edges I promise I can afford some bath salts. Step it up on the service here. It was disgusting being treated like I wasn't worthy despite the reaction the other customers recieved. I treat everyone just the same that walks through my doors of my business & more so I work with many troubled youth & families that undergo mountains of experience with discrimination here in the bay area. Do better.
