A really enjoyable, informative trip on the Elizabeth. We were really welcomed and made comfortable. You can hear the commentary clearly as the landmarks are pointed out for you. There's even a bar! And light refreshments to enjoy in clean and bright seating booths! Thank you again for a great trip. Loved it!

This canal cruise was absolutely amazing and well worth the price. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The lady giving the tour was very professional and did a brilliant job explaining the history and significance of Manchester’s landmarks along the canal, all through a clear sound system. A wonderful and memorable experience for an hour—highly recommended!

Very reasonably priced, friendly staff, and options to sit inside or outside. This gave us a relaxed way to spend an hour when visiting Manchester, whilst learning a bit more about the history of that area from an angle most would miss.

The cruise sails along the River Irwell and the historic Manchester Ship Canal. The boat’s named Princess Katherine and was built in Amsterdam which features an upper deck with seating to enjoy the views and get some fresh air, as well as fixed sitting in booths with magnificent full glass sides to see the breathtaking views of Manchester and Salford Quays.

I took the city river tour. Contrary to my expectations, the route was quite small, Eventhough the duration was 1hr. There was a group of individuals including kids who were talking loudly amongst themselves which made it very difficult to listen to description of the places. The crew made very little effort to ask them to keep it low. Moreover, I found the whole area/sight not that appealing. You can go if you just want to take a river cruise, but don’t expect to get to know or see a lot about Manchester.
