We went here [Mandela Hall] to see Paul Casey and his band on Sunday eve 23rd Nov ,25 , Our very first time in the newly renovated MH since the old one ! What a change, all good except for the seats comfort ! After half an hour was not at all happy, next time WILL def bring a cushion!! However, apart from seats being too hard for long periods of time the gig was absolutely amazing! Paul and the boys put on a brilliant night's entertainment, would recommend any Chris Rea fans go see them as they are vocally/musically sound! . True to form they had Chris hits to a tee ,was so enjoyable, would not hesitate to go see Paul & the boys another time As for the venue 80% out 100 as it's a fabulous space [with the exception of the chairs ! I use a w/stick and is essential that I go to seated gigs as I cannot stand for too long.]

Went to see Beoga last night in Mandela hall What an experience they are even better than I expected. I will be following them from here on in. John, Daniel and Emma were the staff we had the pleasure of dealing with. They couldn’t do Enough to ensure we had a great night. They have quiet personalities very unassuming but they have the gift to deal with the public. What a job they do. Thank you once again.

Great venue - inside the Queens Student Union. Bar really reasonable, staff lovely and sound quality impeccable. Bring a cushion if going to be seated for a long time though!

The best accessibility experience I've had at an event since I became a wheelchair user. Easy to fill out form online, acknowledged with relevant info in an email quickly. All staff members clearly knowledgeable on how to help and where to take us. I was worried that I'd feel too distant from the event in a cordoned off accessibility area, but it was absolutely perfect - right in front of the stage with a clear sight line, access to a bar any time and easy access to the toilets nearby. With earplugs I was also able to block out the crowd talking and actually hear the music due to our location! Super impressed and would recommend to anyone in a similar situation!
