You don’t need to go or look elsewhere from the Bay Area for a car wash or detail. This is the place for you. I brought my brand new car here and I was worried about the wash scratching my paint. It looks brand new and they did a phenomenal job almost better than when I drove it off the dealership. Will be coming back here often.
Needed to get my car cleaned up before selling it and called Markato on a Saturday around 10AM. I luckily was able to get a same day appointment for the afternoon. Before finalizing the appointment, they talked through my different options (i.e. steaming vs shampooing) and the pricing with patience and detail which I really appreciated! I also mentioned to them that I have a lot of pet hair in the car and they said that the main cleaning includes vacuuming that would only get some of the hair out, but full pet hair removal was an additional $30. I appreciated they mentioned that I could go the regular vacuum route and see if I was satisfied with that level of pet hair removal and then I could determine if I wanted the add on. I ultimately decided on steaming since I only had some minor stains on my seats, and added a pet hair removal service since my car had a LOT of pet hair lolol Total service took about 3hours. The team did a wonderful job cleaning up all the nooks and crannies in the interior and making the car look brand new! Really nice people who handle their work with care - would def come back (:
Not a detail - Got an overpriced carwash. I really needed the truck I was returning to be spotless - I was pretty clean, but definitely not a detail. First, they charged me way more than I expected, which might have been fine, but they didnt clean a crumpled napkin from the corner, dust streaks on the bumper, a smudged window, they didn't bother to roll down the windows for a thorough clean, dust on the seats that they didnt wipe down.. there were many dusty spots that I was able to clean off with a rag and some soapy water. I should have just saved my money, because I ended up needing to spend 30m to finish their work myself. Very disappointed. Not planning on returning for detailing projects. They implied that it was going to be in the 150 area, but then called me to almost double the price. $280 for a 10ft uhaul truck is absurd since it's really only the non-cloth cab and a power wash of the box in the back. I needed it spotless, so I bit the bullet. See the pictures. Not impressed. 2 stars because it was roughly clean
