Hands down, the best engagement I've ever had! Moving from Canada to US, I wanted to hire someone who can guide me and take care of all thats necessary on both the sides and Maroof and team did exactly that. I had a terrible experience with this tax company for tax year 2024. I am a Canadian citizen working in the USA on a temp work visa. I was searching for a company that did both Canadian and American taxes, this was my first time filing duel taxes. They seemed to have good reviews so I chose this company. I paid them 900$ US. I was sent forms I had no idea how to fill out, it took me multiple attempts to email and call to get a hold of some one that would help me. I filled out what I could, and when I sent it and asked for feed back, as there was some areas I didn't understand so I left blank, I was told not to worry about it. I attempted to clarify multiple times if there was anything else they needed from me. They wouldn't respond for weeks, and then randomly I would get an email with another form and was asked to complete it ASAP. In my initial email I gave this company the exact dates I crossed the boarder into the USA and when my start date of my job was. I was told I owed the US government 900$. I paid for another tax company to look at my papers, and they found his mistake. When I told him he corrected my taxes and I didn't end up owing anything and instead was issued money back. He blamed it on me not telling him the proper dates. Then to mail my taxes to the US government he gave me an address that kept getting sent back to me, so I had to get the address from him that I could send it to through UPS. It was such an overwhelming experience, being my first time giving two different tax counties. The communication was truly terrible. This year I found an accountant that emails me back, sends me straight forward form, and only cost $500US. I cant believe I paid that amount of money for the terrible service I received. The comparison to this year from my year with maroofhs made me realize how unprofessional and disorganized this company is. I do not recommend them at all unless you want to waste all your time and money.

Maroof is an extremely competent accountant. He is very knowledgeable and takes time to explain matters in detail. Maroof is an expert in cross border taxes, i was 10 years behind in filing my U.S taxes, he was able to bring me up to date and current with all my taxes with the IRS. Maroof and his team are exceptional -- extremely knowledgeable, professional, thorough, and have quick turnaround times. I continue to be impressed every time I interact with Maroof or any of his staff. I had a very complicated case of cross-border taxes involving personal and business taxes across US and Canada, which Maroof swiftly caught up to and provided extremely detailed answers and helped me fix up the situation. His systemic approach makes me feel really at ease -- and since I started working with him it has really reduced my stress levels. I am able to focus on life and work. And every time I do have a question, he promptly answers me -- no longer do I have to plead help for days and weeks like I had to with my previous tax guy. For more context, my previous tax guy screwed my taxes up pretty bad, and Maroof came to save the day. I recommend him to all my family and friends. I didn't know what an ideal tax person looked like until I started working with Maroof.
