I absolutely love Marpole Retreat. I’ve been waiting for something this creative and thoughtfully designed for a long time. It’s a place where you can reset your mindset, and reconnect with your inner creativity. I try not to miss the yoga classes, they are grounding and refreshing, and the painting workshops are just as wonderful. You leave with a piece of art you’re genuinely proud of. The tutors are incredibly kind, and supportive, and they guide you in a way that makes the whole experience feel relaxed and inspiring. I would honestly recommend Marpole Retreat to anyone, who is looking for personal growth, calmness, and a meaningful pause from the busyness of everyday life.

Amazing little studio! Plenty classes to choose from and the teachers are fantastic and super knowledgeable. Classes are small so you can really get an intimate tailored experience. Everyone is super friendly and I was made to feel very welcome and like a valued customer. Highly recommend if you’re in Edinburgh :)

What a lovely experience at Marpole!! I’m 20 and just moved here, and I’m so happy I found this space. Everyone from the instructors to the staff are so warm and welcoming. It’s an exceptional studio that’s spacious, clean, and curated. You can expect to take a range of fun/great classes of barre, yoga, pilates, etc.

I've loved all of the classes I've done so far. I love the variety as well - there are so many cool and different things to try and it's really holistic. There's something for everyone between the movement classes, arts & crafts, and various events. It's also small class sizes, so it doesn't feel crowded and you're able to get help from the instructors. The space is also quite grounding and gorgeous.

We were visiting Edinburgh for a wedding and heard about Marpole Retreats, a Wellness Center on Leith Walk. One of the classes that caught our eye was Puppy Yoga! We all signed up for a Friday class and had an absolute fantastic time!! The puppies are brought to the class by professionals at Puppy Yoga Edinburgh to provide them with socialization before they go to their new homes. We were very impressed with the team from Puppy Yoga. They provided participants with education on how to properly handle the puppies and also made sure the puppies were well cared for during the class. We had 30 minutes of play time with the puppies and then started the yoga class. Well some of us did - I had 4 puppies fall asleep on my lap so I got to snuggle and pet adorable puppies and I didn’t mind at all! My husband who has never done yoga also enjoyed the opportunity to do the stretches and poses. I’d highly recommend checking out Marpole Retreats for its many classes including of course Puppy Yoga!
