Martha on the Fly is a small, counter-service spot specializing in egg sandwiches and hoagies, with a few sit-down items like potato crispies and cornmeal fries. They serve Guardian Coffee and also offer baked goods, including pies, cinnamon rolls, and small donuts. I ordered the Shirley, made with house-made all-beef bologna, onions, and tomato jam. The flavors were excellent, and the in-house bread was notably soft and well made. My partner had the Pearl, which featured a mushroom sausage patty and avocado spread, served on the same impressively soft bread. The cornmeal fries, especially paired with the sunshine sauce and maple syrup, were a standout. The space itself is small—about four seats at the counter with limited standing room—but it felt comfortable rather than crowded. The staff were friendly and genuinely conversational. It was the kind of place I wished had existed when I lived in Cleveland.

Delicious and pretty quick service! Ordered The Doris (sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich) and Karleen’s cornmeal fries with sunshine sauce. Everything was delicious and I definitely want to go back to try other sandwiches! My friend orders the cinnamon roll, which was also delicious! Love the orange zest in the frosting!

Absolutely delicious!! You can tell every item (aside from the cheese) is done in-house! They smoke their own bacon, make the buns (think milk bread), Martha sauce (similar but better than hollandaise)... Every element is perfection! No wonder they are award winning!! And the service... You can tell they have a heart for service! I only wish I had visited sooner!!

Wonderful breakfast! Went on a tuesday morning, busy with standing room only. It was easy to order and an expansive vegetarian and allergen friendly menu. Pricey upon purchase but worth it with the first bite. Got three different types of sandwiches and the cornmeal fries with smiley sauce and syrup. Soft brioche buns, fresh fried eggs, melty cheese. Ordered a build your own with the thickest cut bacon I've seen on a breakfast sandwich and tomato jam. Absolutely will go again and recommend to all
