I would highly recommend Mary Fencl Events to anyone planning their wedding! Our planner Janelle Cordray was on top of everything and made sure our wedding was perfect. We had our wedding at the Mayo Hotel and Janelle knew everything about the venue and almost every vendor we worked with. If you are planning your wedding at the Mayo you have to get Janelle! She is so professional, honest, and pushed us when we needed to meet our deadlines. She helped us make decisions, attended meetings with us, and gave us her opinion when we asked for it. She was very hands on but wasn’t pushy and made us very comfortable. She also made us feel heard and like she was genuinely interested in everything we were doing every step of the way. Our wedding went perfectly and we couldn’t have done it without Mary Fencl Events and Janelle!

Mary and her team were incredible! We hired them in 2022 for my sister’s wedding and hired them again for my wedding this past May! From the beginning stages of planning to the day of execution, Mary and her team are AMAZING!!! She knows how to make all visions come to life and she truly tries to understand what the couple wants for their day. She is also on top of EVERYTHING!!! Mishaps are inevitable, but any time we had issues Mary was on it without me even knowing. We could not recommend Mary and her team enough!!!
Mary and her girls were the best wedding purchase we made. We initially started with Janelle and Alison took over at 90 days. We were nervous switching because we loved Janelle so much BUT Alison killed it!! Seriously. The day of the wedding one of the ingredients was wrong in our specialty drinks and she sent someone to get blueberries (they had blackberries) just to make sure it was exactly what we wanted! If you’re on the fence about hiring a wedding planner, don’t be. From communication with us, to the vendors, to making sure our day was flawless, it was so worth it!!!
We are over-the-moon on how amazing our wedding was, all because of Mary and her incredible team!! We had a vision of what we wanted the day to be like but not sure how to execute or which vendors to use. Mary understood our vision and also respected that we needed to be as financially frugal as possible, and she made it all come to life and under budget too!! We worked with her for about 8 months before the wedding date, which was plenty of time. She gave us a timeline, guests list, and budget template to help us stay organized, which helped a lot. She communicated as frequently as we wanted her too so we felt like we had good control of the process and participate in all decisions, while simultaneously giving her creative freedom. At rehearsal, she walked through everything with us to make sure everything was good to go and we were comfortable with the day. And the wedding day was flawless!! She was there the moment the venue opened to do all the set up, organize the vendors, and be the point person for our wedding party and family. We literally just had to focus on getting ourselves ready and enjoying the day with friends and family. She was punctual, always honored her promises, and stayed true to our plan and vision. She always showed us and all the vendors respect and was super kind, compassionate, and a genuine good person. Our wedding was a dream come true!! Words cannot express how amazing Mary is. We highly recommend her as your wedding planner!!!!
