This restaurant is as good as it was in my memory. Great taste and big portion of its food, and a free cone of ice cream after meal! (Well… it used to be no limit many many years ago if I remembered it right) I always like a restaurant offers free hot tea. It does 😊😋

I visited this restaurant to try their chow mein as I heard it’s one of the best. Their ambience is welcoming and spacious and their service is amicable. We got complementary tea to start with. The tea was refreshing. We got crab and cheese puff and fish dumplings for starters. For the main course we got chicken chow mein, shrimp chow mein, veg fried rice and sour and spicy chilli potatoes. The appetizers were amazing. Their dumplings were fresh and hand made and I loved their flavors and their crab cheese puff was also great. Both were fresh and was bomb. The chow mein was outstanding. Their noodle was thick and soft with wok flavor, I loved their flavors combinations. It was not that spicy and was moorish. The fried was also great and not the best I’ve tried. The potatoes were average. It was prepared in a healthier way by just steaming thins sliced potatoes tossed in sour and spicy sauce. We were expecting fried potatoes though. Overall I found their dishes to be healthier and tastier. This also has complimentary softie which was light and refreshing.

3.5 Stars Ma Restaurant Ma Restaurant specializes in northern Chinese cuisine, with its signature dish being the beef noodle soup, a definite highlight on most visits. The flavors are rich, and the dishes are generally well-prepared and satisfying. However, consistency can be an issue. While the food is often delicious, there are occasional off-days, which detracts from the overall dining experience. This inconsistency, regardless of how busy the restaurant is, is something that needs improvement. On the bright side, the service here is excellent. The staff is friendly and attentive, making diners feel welcome and valued. And don’t miss the pleasant ending to your meal, a refreshing and delicious ice cream cone. It’s a simple treat that leaves you with a sweet note to remember. With a little more focus on maintaining quality every time, Ma Restaurant could easily reach the next level.

Was pleasantly surprised that the servings were larger than I expected. I had the Beef Stew Noodle Soup (紅燒牛肉麵) but was fortunate enough to try out a few other types of noodles. The XinJiang Lamb Kebab (新疆羊肉串) were really nice and reminded me of what I tried in China. Would definitely come back again.

Good food and great service! It’s very reasonable price with bigger portions. I like the lamb soup, and the fried sliced noodles. The sliced fish with black bean sauce is also very good. The fish tastes flesh and chewy. Besides, the sesame pancakes with green onions are delicious! We love it! Moreover, all customers will have an ice cream for the dessert for free! Amazing! Highly recommend!
