I took my vehicle to this Master Mechanic location after another shop (Economy Lube on Upper Gage) misdiagnosed an engine issue and performed unnecessary work. From the start, the difference in professionalism was obvious. No BS. They ran proper diagnostics, including inspecting the spark plugs, checking fuel trims, and performing a full compression test. Compression was a healthy 150 psi across all four cylinders. They identified the real problem — worn spark plugs and a leaking intake manifold gasket — and repaired it correctly. The repair wasn’t cheap at all, but it was fair enough for the level of diagnosis transparency and results. One of my best friends works here, and in hindsight I should have listened to him sooner. That said, They brought me into the shop, showed me the problem directly, and explained it clearly and honestly instead of just throwing parts at the car. I would recommend this shop to anyone who wants the job done right. 5 stars for my boy Cris.👏

I brought my car in to have it checked and was never told there would be a $90 diagnostic fee. No quote, no authorization, nothing. After doing essentially nothing, they sent me straight to the dealership and still charged me. This feels completely dishonest. A shop should clearly disclose fees upfront and provide at least a basic quote before charging customers. I would have gone directly to the dealership if I had known. Be very careful and ask about fees before letting them touch your car.

First time I've ever had to go to a garage to get my car serviced. I can't say THANK YOU enough to Mike and staff for taking me under their wing,explaining everything and doing a fantastic job. I highly recommend this garage. Carol H

I’m currently driving my old Volkswagen golf into the ground. Mike and Jim have done a phenomenal job of keeping it alive at a minimal cost. They’re always willing to work with me and give me honest feedback about the repair being worth it or not. I am now purchasing a new car and of course this is the shop that will be looking over the my choices and servicing the one I pick. Honest, reliable, stress-free, I cannot say enough good things about this place.

Honest, integrity, and very dependable! Mike, Jim and all their staff are beyond fantastic at what they do. They provide superior customer service and reliability for your vehicle. When I first took my vehicle to their establishment, I was taken back in a great way, with how forthcoming they were regarding my vehicle. They didn’t try to upsell me or take advantage of my lack of mechanical knowledge. They were honest with what I needed and didn’t need to do. It was very refreshing! I have been bringing my vehicles to this location for many years now and several of my family members have also started getting their vehicle serviced at this location as well. Thank you for a great experience each and every time, gentlemen!
