Excellent Neopolitan pizza in Sacramento. We loved the Eileen and Elisa. My only gripe with this place is the seating is uncomfortable and the decor makes me feel like I’m eating in an art museum… minus the art. Kind of clinical in there. We sit outside every time. But again, brave the sore cheeks for this remarkable wood fired pizza. We have been loyal customers for years now.

Ate there for the first time today, and the pizza was amazing, did not disappoint at all. The chili oil was phenomenal and they also had a solid beer selection, which is always a plus. The atmosphere was great, which really makes or breaks a place. The simplicity of the space made it relaxing and inviting . For the cherry on top the service was excellent too, our server Adam was super chill and always on top of it. Would definitely recommend.

I was with Carlo and Evo Bastini and wanted to go to an Italian restaurant down in the alphabet streets, and when I said the name of the place Evo sluggged me! Then Carlo sluggged me! Whatsa matt'r you he says, we'll go to Masullo because it's the best food in Sacramento, just like at Nonna's house. Well, we went to Masullo and got the daily pasta before our pizza, and he was right, it was just like Nonna made it! 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆

Best authentic Italian style pizzas in Sacramento. This is me and my boyfriend’s favorite place in Sacramento. Their margherita pizza is so delicious. The sauce is fresh and light and a little sweet but not overpowering. The perfect amount of fresh mozzarella topped with basil. The dough itself is perfectly cooked and charred. I’ve put all of my friends and family onto this restaurant!!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Masullo Pizza in Sacramento, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. We ordered the Elisa pizza and the Paula pizza, which left a lasting impression. The Elisa pizza was a delightful blend of flavors. The combination of fresh ingredients was evident in every bite. The crust was perfect, providing an excellent base for the toppings. The balance of fennel, mozzarella, and onion was spot on, with the addition of a hint of oregano elevating the overall taste. It felt like a classic yet refined pizza showcasing the ingredients' quality. The Paula pizza was a unique and flavorful creation. The topping selection was both intriguing and delicious. The pesto added a fresh, peppery kick that balanced the richness of the other toppings. The crust was just as perfect as the Elisa pizza, with a lovely char and chewiness that made each bite satisfying. The ambiance of Masullo Pizza is cozy and welcoming, with a rustic charm that makes it an excellent spot for a casual meal with friends or family. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring that our dining experience was enjoyable from start to finish. Overall, Masullo Pizza offers a fantastic dining experience with creative and delicious pizzas. The Elisa and Paula pizzas are must-tries, and I look forward to exploring more of their menu in the future. Highly recommended!
