I had Mr. Walda as my teacher in high school and his instruction made a lasting impact on my academic career. I earned 5s on both AP Calculus AB and BC, and the strong foundation he helped build carried with me into college-level math. He has a rare ability to simplify complex concepts and truly make them stick. I’m extremely grateful for his guidance and would highly recommend Mr. Walda to any student looking to succeed in math.

An outstanding calculus teacher who explained concepts clearly and made even difficult material easy to understand. His teaching prepared me extremely well — I earned a 5 on both AP Calculus exams. Challenging but fair, and truly invested in his students’ success. Highly recommend.

Mr. Walda has been an exceptional teacher for me. I’ve always struggled with math—especially calculus—but he’s the only one who has explained concepts in a way that actually makes sense. His patience, clarity, and teaching style have truly saved my grade and completely changed how I feel about math.

Mr. Walda was my AP Calculus AB teacher, and I can’t recommend him highly enough! He explains difficult concepts in a way that actually makes sense, and he is extremely patient while still challenging you to think critically. His step-by-step teaching style helped me build real confidence in calculus, and I saw a big improvement in both my grades and my AP exam prep. If you are looking for a math tutor who truly cares about his students’ success, Mr. Walda is the one!

My daughter is taking Algebra I online through a hybrid school setting. Mr. Walda has helped explain in such a way that she is truly grasping the concepts - to the point that she is starting to explore the ideas more on her own. For the first time in a long time, she is feeling more confident in her math skills and actually experiencing some enjoyment in doing the work. He has been an unbelievable asset in our school journey and I would absolutely recommend his assistance to anyone looking for a better grasp of mathematics.
