Astryl is an excellent math tutor! He has been helping my son for over a year now in both Grade 11 and Grade 12 math and my son’s math mark has increased by 16 marks since Grade 10. Astryl is very patient and kind and truly cares about his students. He is supportive and is always reachable and quick to respond to texts and provides constructive and helpful feedback to parents and students including homework questions in between sessions. Astryl is great with my son - he recognizes his neurodivergence and always lets me know honestly how the math sessions are going. I referred Astryl to a friend who also has nothing but positive things to say and has in turn referred others to Astryl. Astryl is a fantastic math tutor. He is able to break down difficult math concepts so that students understand them. He takes the time to get to know his students and how they learn best, so he can help them to the best of their abilities. He is very organized in his approach, and his communication skills are excellent - both with his students, and their parents. I'm currently 22 years old and it has been 7 years since my last math course. I never took advanced functions because I never expected I'd need it. Fast-forward to last year, I decided to switch my degree from a BA to BSc and I needed an advanced functions credit above 75% to make the switch. I'm not exaggerating when I say I'm really bad at Math and having not done math for 7 years, I had forgotten most of the basic knowledge needed to make it through advanced functions. Then I found Astryl online. He is an amazing math tutor and took me through every assignment one question at a time. He also took me through every single question on the practice exam explaining everything step by step and also offered to send practice problems and such. He will explain something until you get it, will go slower if you need it and will make time for you. He is dedicated to his students and strives to make them succeed and he is successful in doing this. I highly recommend Astryl as a math tutor.
