I highly recommend Matt for all your music learning needs. Matt is exceptionally good with kids, he is super enthusiastic and funny. He somehow manages to get my motormouth kid to focus, which is no small feat. Beyond the basics Matt possesses an in-depth knowledge of music. I can’t even begin to scratch the surface of all the musical tidbits in his brain. Never in my life have I met someone as passionate about music as he is. The pride Matt takes in his music school is obvious. If you can get past all his weird cat memes, you will find he is an excellent teacher. I certainly count myself lucky to be his student.

In addition to being a crazy talented musician, Matt is also a phenomenal teacher. He’s happy to tailor lessons to the student’s personal interests and his structure and dedication to your progress makes learning from him fun! As someone who’s had experience with multiple music teachers Matt is definitely one of the best!

Matt is an incredibly talented and versitile musician and an amazing teacher. He is very approachable and encouraging which so key with any teacher. He listens and will adapt his approach according to a student's needs. I highly recommend him.

Matt is an incredibly talented teacher, performer and composer. He is technically proficient on a number of instruments and he is very knowledgeable in regards to music theory. He's also one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. I have and will continue to recommend him to anyone interested in developing their musical skills.
