Lovely experience with great food, space & service. The drinks & good were all yummy & delicious. Our waiter/server (Josue R) was amazing with great energy. He made the dining experience even better! 10/10; we are already planning to return again to try other menu items.

Had a great meal here. The service was fantastic, friendly and knowledgeable. Our server gave us great recommendations for cocktails and entrees. So delicious! It was a little noisy inside but we could still talk. Overall we had a great experience!

Dined in not too long ago and was served by Jose he was the sweetest! Full of energy, super attentive, and made great recommendations. He suggested modifications to my food that turned out amazing, and his drink recommendation was spot on you have to try the lychee’s own. Enjoyed the beautiful outdoor scenery, too. Definitely one of the best spots in Jersey City, and I’ll absolutely be coming back!

My friends and I had brunch here and it was perfect! The atmosphere is great, and the service from Josue was wonderful. We tried the hot honey chicken sandwich (a solid sandwich – highly recommend), the lemon ricotta pancakes (delicious and fluffy), and the country club scrambled eggs (so good, still wondering how they make them that fluffy). The Parmesan truffle fries were also a hit. For drinks, I had the 80s Glam, which was delicious—not too sweet—and matched my lavender outfit perfectly. Highly recommend this spot for brunch!

Mathew’s Restaurant is an absolute gem! The steak was cooked to perfection—so flavorful and tender. The drinks were strong with amazing flavor combinations, just the way I like them. Our server, Jose, was extremely professional and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Everyone we interacted with was kind and welcoming. The atmosphere is beautiful, and the food is a solid 10/10. Highly recommend!
