My son has always struggled in math and this year was no different. He had an E in math so I started looking for a tutor. I found Mathnasium online and the reviews were impressive so I signed him up in late October. Since then my son has been passing his quizzes and tests. He managed to get a C+ on his report card in just months time. His teacher was really impressed with his progress and told him to keep it up! So far I’m very happy and grateful to Mathnasium for encouraging my son to do the best he can!!

Great decision bringing our 10 year old to Mathnasium! He is building a solid foundation of math skills which has been great for his confidence in class. Bonus is that he's actually having fun while he's there and is happy when I pick him up :) That's a win! I highly recommend. Edited April 2018 to add that we just finished up our time at Mathnasium and feel great about the experience all around. My son is ready and prepared for his upcoming SOL's at school and feels confident he'll do well! I have also seen his progress coming home in his school work! Can't say enough good things about the owner and staff. Highly recommend!

Mathnasium South Virginia Beach ROCKS! It's not just for the younger kids building fundamentals- it's also great for the high school and AP kids as well! Our son was enrolled during Algebra 2 Trig and our daughter attends for homework help for AP stats. Last week both of the folks who work on stats with her were out, so Mike arranged for her to skype with John at a different location so she could get the help he needed. It's well managed, it's easy to schedule appointments that around sports and school activities, the atmosphere promotes success, and the kids have fun learning math. Mathnasium is a great investment in your child's education.

Mathnasium of South Virginia Beach is amazing! Since my boys started attending, their math skills (and grades) have improved greatly. They no longer complain about doing math homework and actually look forward to their sessions. Michael Tate and his outstanding staff of instructors focus on each and every student to instill confidence and make learning fun!

My experience was with the ease of signing my daughter up. Simple instructions on making appointments and canceling them. As far as my daughter's concern she loves the staff no matter which one she is practicing with. In just the few weeks of starting her grades already went up. She has more confidence and homework is a little easier for her. Granite she is in an Algebra 2 / trigonometry class Mathnasium has made it much easier for her to pass. She anticipates during the summer should be able to practice on the next class should be going in statistics. I can say the money we spend is not wasted in our daughter's education. It has been great for us.
