Mathnasium has been a great experience so far. The teachers are all wonderful and are able to explain different math strategies that have really helped give our son confidence with math. We are so happy to have found mathnasium as we know it will continue to foster our sons math skills!

We had an excellent experience with Mathnasium in Verona, and we are incredibly grateful to Alyssa and her team. We initially came to Mathnasium after our son’s confidence in math dropped significantly due to a negative experience with his math teacher, who questioned his ability and yelled at him. Alyssa and her team immediately created a supportive, encouraging environment that helped rebuild his confidence and trust in his own abilities. Over the months we worked with them, we saw a dramatic increase in our son’s confidence, and just as importantly, a significant improvement in his math knowledge. Through this process, we also learned that he had not been taught even some of the basic foundations of Algebra—despite attending an IB school that claimed its math students were a grade level ahead. Mathnasium identified and filled in many of these gaps with targeted, individualized instruction. The results speak for themselves: our son’s SSAT math score increased from the 39th percentile to the 93rd percentile in just one year. We cannot recommend Alyssa and the Verona Mathnasium team highly enough. The individualized care, expertise, and encouragement were truly AMAZING, and the impact on our son has been lasting.

We are so pleased with Mathnasium in Verona. This has really boosted our child’s confidence in math while making it fun and exciting. Personally, I love the way that they engage each student and really help cultivate an understanding math concepts at every level. I am sure that I was not the only parent that had tears at the dining room table while trying to help their child with their math homework. (My tears as much as the students) But now that we have found Mathnasium - math is fun again! We will continue to use Mathnasium in the future for as long as necessary and beyond.
