This has been a wonderful experience for our daughter. She is shoring up her math foundations, getting help with homework and having fun too. We have seen the progress first hand in the decreases time she spends on math homework as she uses her newly acquired skills and shortcuts!
Our daughter really opened up to the tutors and community at Mathnasium in a way that she wouldn't with us when addressing her math homework. They patiently guide her as she builds problem solving confidence and seem to intuit when she needs additional support in an uplifting way. I am pleased that they stress critical thinking and challenge her to come at a problem from a different angle when her first attempt fails. We went in person twice a week while living in Spokane, and have continued using their services since our move +9 hours away to The Netherlands through their online sessions. We are grateful for the methodologies she is being introduced to, the enthusiasm of the instructors, and the abundance of positive reinforcement. We would highly recommend Mathnasium to any student!
Mathnasium of Spokane on N Newport Hwy has been an incredible experience for my daughter. From the moment we walked in, the staff was welcoming, professional, and genuinely invested in her success. The instructors take time to explain concepts clearly and build confidence step by step. In just a short time, I’ve seen major improvement not only in her math skills but also in her attitude toward learning. She actually looks forward to her sessions, which says so much about the positive, supportive environment they’ve created. The program is well-structured, flexible, and tailored to her needs. I have two sons enrolled in Mathnasium. We have been attending Mathnasium for 4 years. I am thrilled and grateful for the center’s hands on instruction and attention to my children’s math development. They are very knowledgeable, kind and professional. As a homeschool family it is nice to have someone else helping build the confidence of my children and helping to reinforce their skills. Love seeing my daughter grow in confidence! She really enjoys the reward system Mathnasium has and is able to focus on math in a very small group setting without getting distracted! In 4 months, she has mastered many standards. In fact, she is super close and to reaching a new grade level vs feeling lost in the classroom for the last two years and remaining stagnant! As a parent, I look forward to reading a mini summary after each session. It helps keep me in the loop, so I can celebrate her progress through her personalized plan. Thank you Mathnasium!
