I recently visited Maya Blue Wellness for the Good Morning Maya 2025 experience and wanted to provide some constructive feedback following my visit. The setting itself is beautiful, and the restaurant team were genuinely lovely throughout the experience — welcoming, attentive, and professional. They were definitely a highlight of the visit and made us feel very comfortable. However, overall the spa experience did not quite meet the standard I was expecting. At times, the organisation and communication between staff felt inconsistent, which created a slightly uncomfortable atmosphere. One issue that particularly affected our experience was being approached regarding noise levels. We completely understand the importance of maintaining a calm and relaxing environment within a spa setting, however we genuinely did not feel we were being excessively loud or disruptive. We were simply relaxing and quietly enjoying the experience together. There was also some confusion surrounding the interaction with the staff member who approached us regarding the noise levels. While I completely understand the importance of maintaining a calm and relaxing environment within a spa setting, the situation felt unclear and uncomfortable for our group. The same member of staff explained one reason to me for approaching us, while giving someone else in my party a different explanation. This created mixed messages and left us feeling unsure as to what the actual issue was. Following the interaction, it also felt as though attention had been drawn specifically towards our group, which unfortunately made us feel quite self-conscious and uncomfortable for the remainder of the experience. In addition, the spa treatment itself felt quite rushed and lacked the relaxing, attentive feel I would normally expect from a premium spa experience. I left feeling that more care and attention to detail could have made a significant difference to the overall visit. I share this feedback respectfully, as the venue has a lot of potential and there were certainly positive aspects to the day. With improved organisation, clearer communication, and a more personalised approach to treatments, I believe the overall customer experience could be greatly enhanced. In comparison to other spa experiences I have had, including at Hope Street Hotel, I feel there is an opportunity to create a more polished, relaxing, and consistently attentive experience for guests.

They wouldn’t allow my girlfriend in at all because they use peanuts in their products, as she has a peanut allergy. Nut allergies are quite common, so why on earth are they using peanuts in their products. Very disappointing.

i went yesterday with my girlfriend as a celebration. we initially booked through email and were told that we had to enquire, by the supervisor Sophie. when we got there the booking had not been made despite a confirmation email. Nothing but nice things to say about the staff, the girl that helped us was lovely. the spa was really small- the pool was very overcrowded and there were no chairs left because of this overcrowding issue. there is two small saunas and a steam room, there was no water as advertised only teas, the relaxation room is cold- as are the experience showers. The toilets were in a state, one was blocked. We paid £20 each for 2 hours and wouldn’t go back again. it’s just not worth the money- go to hope street spa instead.

Not worth the money at all. We were hotel guests so only payed £40 for 2 people but wouldn’t even pay £20 for it. The pool is way too small for how many people there was, no jacuzzi either. There was some beds but since there was so many people there was no beds free. Wouldn’t return, i’d save your money and go somewhere else.

Lovely spa! Went for 2 hours from 9am-11am. It was gorgeous to rest and relax by the pool. There was x2 saunas, a steam room, rainfall showers, the main pool and relaxation space with beanbags. Perfect place to rest and relax for a few hours and at a very good price. Felt luxurious and no sense of time. Only downside was the foot spa area wasn't working and then having to pay for parking. But overall a gorgeous place to relax.
